Buy/Sell/Hold Report #1

BUY orders: These are players you could obtain through a reasonable trade given their relatively low perceived fantasy value.

Packers passing game
Aaron Rodgers, Greg Jennings, Jordy Nelson, and Jermichael Finley are all nice buy low candidates right now. Their price tag is as low as it's gonna get after being stifled by the Seahawks on Monday Night Football. It was the 3rd straight disappointing outing from this passing game to open the season. Rodgers is averaging just 248 passing yards per game with 3 TDs and 2 INTs. He's sitting 23rd among QBs in fantasy points. Jennings and Nelson don't have a single score yet. Both guys are outside the top 50 WRs. Finley has been the best of the bunch. He's caught at least 4 balls in all 3 games. But he's totaled only 133 yards and 1 score -- putting him 16th in fantasy points. It's been ugly in Green Bay. But consider their opponents thus far. The Packers have opened with the 49ers, Bears, and Seahawks. All 3 squads currently rank among the top-13 pass defenses. Combined, they've allowed 10 TDs with 13 INTs. Beyond that, it's been a funky schedule for the Packers. They opened the season with a late Sunday game, then played on a Thursday night, before traveling to Seattle for a Monday nighter. Football players get into a rhythm during the season. The Packers haven't been able to do that yet. Their final 13 games are all on Sundays. And they have a bunch of plus matchups coming up, including the Colts, Jaguars, and Lions twice. But their best draw is Week 4 against the Saints. We're fully expecting this Packers game to break out this coming Sunday. See if you can get a piece of it on the cheap before then.
