Titans WR Andre Johnson has retired, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter. The 35-year-old played a significant role in Tennessee's passing game early on this season but had seen his snap rate dip the past 2 outings. He finishes his career with 1,062 catches and 14,185 receiving yards -- both among the top 10 in NFL history. The Titans can now stop wasting snaps on Johnson and give more to Kendall Wright, Rishard Matthews and Tajae Sharpe.
The Titans have signed WR Andre Johnson to a 2-year deal, per ESPN's Adam Schefter. Johnson will go down as 1 of the best WRs of his generation, but there's not much gas left in his tank. He mustered just 41 catches, 503 yards and 4 TDs with the Colts last season. It was his 3rd straight year below 13 yards per catch. Hopefully Tennessee doesn't give him snaps at the expense of youngsters Dorial Green-Beckham, Kendall Wright, Rishard Matthews and Tajae Sharpe.
