Steelers DE Stephon Tuitt (biceps) is officially questionable for Sunday's game in Chicago. But after a limited workout Wednesday, he returned to full participation Thursday and Friday. We'd bet on Tuitt playing after missing Week 2 (and all but the 1st series in the opener) but will confirm his status Sunday morning.
Steelers DE Stephon Tuitt is out for today's game against the Vikings. Pittsburgh had hoped he'd be able to play after suffering a biceps injury in Week 1. The questionable tag indicates Tuitt has a solid chance of returning for Week 3.
The Steelers consider DE Stephon Tuitt "week to week" with a left biceps injury, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. That's fairly good news, considering the team reportedly feared Sunday night that Tuitt tore the muscle. We'll see if the recently extended DE can make it back for Week 3.
Steelers DE Stephon Tuitt left in the 1st quarter of Sunday's win over the Browns with a left arm injury. He did not return. HC Mike Tomlin called it a biceps injury after the game. Tuitt will seek further evaluation Sunday night or Monday. We'll await the official diagnosis.
Steelers DE Stephon Tuitt (knee) is inactive for today's game against the Ravens. Losing him takes a boom/bust IDP away and dings the value of the Pittsburgh team D a bit. Of course, you're short on options at this point if you were planning to play the Steelers.
Steelers DE Stephon Tuitt (knee) is questionable for Sunday's game against the Ravens. Already a low-floor IDP option matching up against a solid Baltimore O-line, Tuitt's not worth much fantasy attention even if active this week.
Steelers DE Stephon Tuitt is probable for Sunday's game against the Raiders after missing the past 2 contests with a knee sprain. He has been enjoying a breakthrough season and should jump right back into IDP consideration. Pittsburgh also figures to get S Will Allen back after he missed the past 3 outings with an ankle sprain. He's also worth a look in IDP leagues.
Steelers DE Stephon Tuitt will miss Sunday's game against the Chiefs with the sprained knee that kept him out of practice all week. That's a significant loss for IDP owners, given his recent performance, so we'll keep an eye on whether this looks like a multi-week injury. On the positive side, LB Ryan Shazier looks like he's finally ready to return. He has been out since Week 2 with a shoulder injury, but the Steelers list him as probable for Sunday.
Steelers HC Mike Tomlin said Tuesday that LB Ryan Shazier (shoulder) "should play" Sunday, according to Ed Bouchette of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette. Shazier hasn't played since a Week 2 shoulder injury despite limited practices for a couple of weeks now. We'll be watching his status this week. Tomlin also said the team will have to see how DE Stephon Tuitt fares in practice this week. He suffered a knee sprain in Sunday's win over the Cardinals. Tuitt has delivered strong IDP numbers so far. Shazier enjoyed a big Week 2 before his injury.
The Steelers used the 46th pick of the 2014 NFL draft on Notre Dame DE Stephon Tuitt. An inside player in college, Tuitt likely projects as a 3-4 DE in Pittsburgh. The Steelers have yet to re-sign 35-year-old DE Brett Keisel, who spent most of the past 9 years starting for them. Tuitt could push for a starting job right away, though Pittsburgh has traditionally proved to be among the league's most patient franchises in developing its draftees. Tuitt tallied 19.5 sacks over his final 2 college seasons and could produce some IDP value in the pros. But he doesn't look like a high-ceiling prospect there. If he plays up to his draft position, he'll help rebound a D that fell off significantly last season after getting old the past few years.
