The Vikings have signed QB Case Keenum, according to FOX 26 in Houston. The move doesn't mean much for fantasy owners, given that Keenum's not good enough to push Sam Bradford for a job. But the former Texan and Ram seems slightly high-profile for a 3rd QB, and we're all waiting to see if Teddy Bridgewater will be able to return from his 2016 knee injury. We'll be watching for any progress from Bridgewater this offseason. Minnesota's QB spot, meanwhile, doesn't make for an attractive fantasy football target.
Rams HC Jeff Fisher announced Monday night that QB Case Keenum will remain the starter for this weekend's game against the Dolphins. There was talk that QB Jared Goff would debut in that one, but Keenum did JUST enough to get the Rams a win against the Jets last Sunday. He's not long for this starting job, though. Los Angeles' next loss could usher in the Goff Era.
Rams HC Jeff Fisher announced after Sunday's loss to the Cardinals that QB Case Keenum will start Week 14. QB Nick Foles turned in another ugly outing vs. Arizona, completing just 15 of 35 passes for 146 yards, 0 TDs and 1 INTs. It was his 4th straight outing without a score. Keenum tossed for just 136 yards and 1 TD in a plus matchup against the Ravens in his only action this season. Continue to avoid the Rams passing game.
Rams QB Case Keenum put in a limited practice Wednesday, though the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports that he "did a fair amount of work." Keenum has not yet cleared the concussion protocol, but HC Jeff Fisher said he hopes to get Keenum back in time to start against the Bengals on Sunday. The fact that he's already practicing seems to indicate that's likely, but we'll see how the rest of the week goes. Keenum's not much of a fantasy option this week anyway, though.
