Ravens QB Joe Flacco (back) put in a full week of practice and isn’t listed on the final Week 1 injury report. He’ll start on Sunday but isn’t a recommended fantasy play after missing all of August and drawing a solid Bengals defense.

Ravens HC John Harbaugh confirmed on Wednesday that QB Joe Flacco (back) is "ready to roll" for Week 1. He resumed throwing in late August and returned to practice this past weekend. Flacco isn't a recommended Week 1 fantasy play on the road against the Bengals. But his availability is good news for Baltimore's skill-position guys.

Ravens QB Joe Flacco (back), RB Danny Woodhead (hamstring) and WR Breshad Perriman (hamstring) all returned to practice on Saturday. It puts them on track to play against the Bengals in Week 1. Flacco, of course, will be under center. Woodhead figures to play a significant pass-catching role. We'll see how much action Perriman gets after missing all of August, but he won't be a fantasy option.

Ravens HC John Harbaugh revealed on Tuesday that QB Joe Flacco has resumed throwing. The team is still waiting for him to receive medical clearance to return to practice, though. It still looks like he's on track to be ready for the opener, but the Ravens passing game will be a risky Week 1 fantasy bet after what's been a lost August for Flacco.

Ravens QB Joe Flacco (back) remains sidelined. We're now 4 weeks into what the team originally called a 1-week injury. OC Marty Mornhinweg gave a rambling, useless response when asked on Wednesday about Flacco's timetable for return. We've still heard nothing to suggest that he won't be ready for the season opener, but such an extended absence with a back injury for a 32-year-old QB is a concern. Flacco isn't worth drafting outside of 2-QB leagues. And if he's not back on the field by the end of August, we'll have to start pushing WRs Jeremy Maclin and Mike Wallace down the WR rankings.

Injury Predictor

Since entering the league in 2008, Flacco’s missed games in just 1 season — 2015. That, of course, was the year that he tore his left MCL and ACL 10 games in. After tossing a whopping 672 passes in 2016, Flacco’s set for a major drop as Baltimore looks to emphasize the run.
