Titans QB Marcus Mariota (hamstring) is active for tonight's game against the Colts. There's risk of an in-game setback, and Mariota's rushing ability figures to be limited. But there's also plenty of passing upside here vs. an Indy defense that's allowing 308 yards per game.

Titans writer Paul Kuharsky reports that QB Marcus Mariota will play Monday night against the Colts. That makes him worth waiting for if you're deciding between the Titans QB and 1 of the passers from today's late games. Jacoby Brissett remains ultimate insurance where he's available.

Titans QB Marcus Mariota (hamstring) is listed as questionable for Monday night's game against the Colts after a limited week of practice. We're hoping to get an update on his status on Sunday morning, but he might be a game-time decision. Stay tuned.

Update: ESPN's Cameron Wolfe says the decision "will likely linger until game day for the second consecutive week." That would be no good for fantasy owners, obviously, unless you have Jacoby Brissett as insurance. We'll see if anything else comes out before today's games.

Titans HC Mike Mularkey said Friday that he's "hopeful" QB Marcus Mariota (hamstring) will be able to play against the Colts on Monday night. Mariota was limited again in Friday's practice. “It is going to come down to a lot of things," Mularkey added. "We have a full speed practice tomorrow, a walk-through and all that rest. It might be a game-time decision. Can he play and not risk himself further injury? That’s the biggest thing.” Check back tomorrow for another update.

Titans QB Marcus Mariota said Wednesday that his injured hamstring feels "a lot better." He did more in practice on Wednesday than he did last week, but he still wasn't a full-go. "As the days go on, hopefully I’ll feel better and better," Mariota said. "It is just taking it one day at a time and hopefully I’ll be able to go. Hopefully towards the end of the week I’ll get more on my plate and hopefully I’ll feel comfortable to try and play on Monday.” We'll continue to track Mariota's progress and hope to have a good idea about his status by Sunday morning.

Injury Predictor

The only real injury concern for this young QB is the fractured right fibula he suffered last Christmas Eve. Mariota needed surgery to repair the fracture and will be rehabbing the leg right up until training camp. He was limited in OTAs this spring, but still managed some 7-on-7 non-contact, throwing drills. All indications are that he’ll be a “go” for Week 1 of the regular season.
