The Seahawks lost starting LT George Fant to an ACL tear in Friday night's preseason game. Fant hasn't proved to be a special talent, but it's a bad loss for a team that has already struggled on the O-line. It harms the fantasy outlook for all Seattle RBs. We're not changing the projections for QB Russell Wilson, but losing Fant could make life more challenging for him all year.

Seahawks QB Russell Wilson followed a strict diet regimen this offseason. The result: he's down from 225 pounds to 214 and from 16% body fat to 10%. Wilson was already a good bet to bounce back from a disappointing 2016 season that saw him play through ankle and knee injuries. Cutting some weight should only help that cause. A beat-up Wilson tallied a career-low 259 rushing yards last year after averaging 607.5 over his first 4 seasons.

Seahawks QB Russell Wilson tossed just 1 TD vs. 5 INTs in Sunday's loss to the Packers. He completed 22 of 39 passes overall for 240 yards, adding 19 on the ground. Both Wilson and his receivers stood at fault for the terrible offensive outing. Going back home for the Rams next week should help. A Week 16 rematch with the Cardinals could go either way, after Arizona allowed Ryan Tannehill 3 TD passes Sunday.

Seahawks QB Russell Wilson is not on the final injury report. He’ll start Sunday’s game against the Jets but won’t be at 100% after spraining his knee last week. That lowers the rushing ceiling, but there’s plenty of passing upside against the Jets’ 24th-ranked QB defense.

Seahawks QB Russell Wilson said again on Thursday that he'll play against the Jets this weekend. He added that he'll do so with a brace on his sprained knee. Wilson said that won't make an impact, but that's tough to believe. Wilson's mobility both in and outside the pocket figures to be compromised. He's a lower-end QB1 for Week 4, despite a plus matchup.

Wilson suffered a high-ankle sprain in Week 1 of 2016. Just 2 weeks later, he sustained a left MCL sprain. Those injuries led to career-lows in the rushing department, but Wilson managed to appear in all 16 games. In fact, he’s now done that in 5 straight seasons.
