Bills QB Tyrod Taylor (concussion) put in a full week of practice and isn’t on the final Week 1 injury report. He’ll start against the Jets on Sunday. Despite the plus matchup, we’d only trust Taylor in 2-QB leagues.

Bills QB Tyrod Taylor has cleared the concussion protocol, according to ESPN's Field Yates. Barring a setback, he'll start against the Jets on Sunday. That's a tasty matchup, but we have Taylor ranked as a QB2 after a disastrous offseason for the Bills offense.

Bills QB Tyrod Taylor (concussion) returned to practice on Monday. He was likely limited to individual drills but is making tangible progress through the protocol. Consider him a better than 50/50 bet to be cleared in time for Sunday's opener vs. the Jets.

Bills HC Sean McDermott admitted Monday that QB Tyrod Taylor's status for this weekend's opener against the Jets is "up in the air." He remains in the concussion protocol after sustaining the head injury 9 days ago. We'll track his progress, but Taylor shouldn't be in your Week 1 plans. QB Nathan Peterman would draw the start on Sunday if Taylor isn't cleared. The rookie completed just 54.4% of his passes and averaged only 5.7 yards per attempt this preseason.

Bills GM Brandon Beane said on the radio Friday that the team expects QB Tyrod Taylor (concussion) to be ready for Week 1. He added that rookie backup Nathan Peterman would be ready to fill in if Taylor can't go and that Peterman has been better than he expected. That's noteworthy, given Buffalo's lack of commitment to Taylor in the offseason and apparent rebuilding mode. Don't be surprised if Peterman starts some games this year.

Taylor missed 1 game last year, but it wasn’t injury-related. The 28-year-old sat out 2 games in 2015, however, due to an MCL sprain. He’s looking to stay healthy and cement himself as Buffalo’s long-term answer at QB.
