The Broncos have signed free-agent WR Jason Hill.  We were surprised to see Hill pop up on so many "sleeper" lists this past summer.  He ended up recording just 367 yards and 3 TDs for the Jaguars before being released in November.  Despite intriguing measurables (6'0, 202 pounds, 4.3 speed), Hill has never produced at the NFL level.  He's not a threat to WR Demaryius Thomas and Eric Decker's starting jobs.

The Jaguars have waived WR Jason Hill.  The move is only surprising because he's currently the team leader in receiving TDs (3) and 2nd in receiving yards (367).  Hill has been awful all season though, failing to create separation and dropping way too many balls.  Jacksonville will finish out the season with Mike Thomas, Cecil Shorts, and Jarrett Dillard as their top-3 WRs.  It remains a passing game to stay far, far away from.

Jaguars WR Jason Hill (hip) is listed as probable for Sunday's game against the Panthers.  He'll move back into the starting lineup after missing Week 2.  But with QB Blaine Gabbert at the helm, Hill isn't a fantasy option.

As expected, Jaguars WR Jason Hill (hip) is inactive for today's game against the Jets.  WR Cecil Shorts will start in his place.  He bears watching after an impressive August but isn't a fantasy option in a brutal matchup.

Jags WR Jason Hill says the Florida heat is partly to blame for his “sluggish” start to training camp. “Coming from the West Coast, never being out here before, it was a little tough to adjust to,” Hill said. “But I think now I'm starting to get my legs. We've got a little less than a month to go with this camp stuff, so I think by the time regular-season comes, I'll be rolling.” Hill can blame the heat all he wants, but we think he’s just not that talented. He’s proved nothing through 5 NFL seasons, and that’s unlikely to change considering the Jags QB situation. He’s only a late-round flier.

49ers WRs Josh Morgan and Jason Hill were the primary targets vs. Arizona in week 10, targeted 8 and 10 times respectively. Morgan (a Sneaky Starter this week) caught 4 passes for 54 yards & 1 TD. Hill caught 7 passes for 84 yards. The veteran Isaac Bruce was only targeted 6 times and caught 1 pass for 12 yards. QB Shaun Hill showed some promise with 2 TD passes and a near upset-win on the road. It looks like new coach Mike Singletary is putting "his guys" on the field and that means both these young WRs could become fantasy factors.
