Bengals S Reggie Nelson is expected to miss today's game at K.C. with a hamstring injury. Shame in such a high-upside IDP matchup.

FS Reggie Nelson reached a new 4-year deal with the Bengals on Sunday. The safety made multiple visits after free agency opened, including a meeting with the Jets. Ultimately, he'll return to the place where he enjoyed arguably his best pro season in 2011. He posted career highs in solo tackles, assists, sacks and pass breakups while adding 4 INTs. That made him a top-15 fantasy DB. Nelson has proved wildly inconsistent since bein drafted in Round 1 by the Jaguars, but we've at least been reminded of the upside. He should be drafted as an IDP starter in 2012.

Jaguars CBs Rashean Mathis (foot), Drayton Florence (groin) and S Reggie Nelson (knee) are all 100% healthy for the Tennessee game. "This is the healthiest we've been all season," Jags backup S Pierson Prioleau said.

The AP reports Jaguars S Reggie Nelson suffered a bruised knee in the 3rd quarter vs. the Colts. He'll have an MRI today but he should be OK.

Jaguars S Reggie Nelson had to be helped off the field last week after colliding with teammate Brian Williams in the 3rd quarter. They are calling it a strained knee. Nelson also had a hip pointer going into the game. He'll likely be listed as questionable.

SI's Peter King: “I have a bold prediction: Jack Del Rio will have the Jacksonville defense on a rampage this week at Indy, one unlike the Colts have ever seen.”

Jaguars safety Reggie Nelson missed practice Friday because of a hamstring and was listed as questionable at Pittsburgh. If he can't go, 2nd-year safety Jamaal Fudge from Clemson will start. We raised Heath Miller on the Weekly Updated List per this news.

Jaguars safety Reggie Nelson, their 1st-round pick, was injured Saturday vs. the Bucs. He was taken off the field in the 2nd quarter with an apparent high ankle sprain. Jack Del Rio was visibly crushed when he talked to reporters but the latest reports say it's not a serious sprain.
