The Patriots have signed WR Donte Stallworth.  He was with New England back in 2007, recording 46 catches for 697 yards and 3 scores.  In 3 seasons since, though, he's totaled only 41 catches, 561 yards, and 3 TDs.  At 31 years old, Stallworth doesn't have the deep speed he used to.  At least he's familiar with the offense.  But even so, Stallworth isn't a lock to make the opening day roster.  And he'll be 5th in line for targets, at best, if he does.

The Redskins have added WR Donte Stallworth to the mix.  He was a major bust in his return to the NFL last year, managing just 2 catches in 7 appearances.  Now 30 years old, he's lost that deep speed that made him so dangerous early in his career.  At best, Stallworth will be Washington's 3rd WR behind Santana Moss and Anthony Armstrong.  And he'll need to beat out talented rookie Leonard Hankerson for that spot.

Ravens WR Donte Stallworth (foot) will make his season debut against the Dolphins today.  He'll serve as Baltimore's #4 WR, and while he isn't a fantasy option, his deep speed will open things up for the entire offense.

Ravens WR Donte Stallworth could make his season debut this Sunday against the Dolphins.  He's been sidelined since breaking a bone in his foot in the preseason.  Stallworth ran pass patterns in practice Monday, but came away sore.  "It will probably be a game-time decision," he said. "As of right now, it's still going to be a little sore after practicing today."  When he's ready, Stallworth will step in as Baltimore's #4 WR.  He won't be a fantasy option, but his deep speed will help QB Joe Flacco.

Ravens WR Donte Stallworth suffered a broken foot in last night's game. He'll undergo surgery and is out indefinitely. The team doesn't believe it's season-ending, but Stallworth won't be making an impact until at least mid-season. He was the favorite to open the year as Baltimore's #3 WR, but that distinction now goes to Mark Clayton. Stallworth is undraftable, while Clayton is just a late-round flier.

The Ravens have signed WR Donte Stallworth to a 1-year deal.  Baltimore can use plenty of help at WR, but we're not sure Stallworth can provide it.  He's been out of football for almost a year and hasn't topped 725 yards in a season since 2005.  Depending on whether or not WR Derrick Mason retires, Stallworth will be competing for either the 2nd or 3rd WR spot.

As expected, the Browns have released WR Donte Stallworth.  Stallworth was reinstated by the NFL today, although no offical announcement was made.  He won't draw a ton of interest on the market, but we're betting a team takes a shot on him with a 1-year deal.  He's unlikely to be a fantasy factor though.

The NFL has suspended WR Donte Stallworth for the entire 2009 season after he pleaded guilty to felony manslaughter. If he’s reinstated next year, Stallworth will be almost 30 years old and may have trouble finding a job in the NFL.

Browns WR Donte Stallworth has been suspended indefinitely by the NFL after pleading guilty to DUI manslaughter on Tuesday.  He is expected to meet with Commissioner Roger Goodell within the next few weeks to determine the exact length of the suspension. 

Browns WR Donte Stallworth has been charged with DUI manslaughter after hitting and killing 59-year old Mario Reyes last month. If convicted, Stallworth will face a prison sentence of 4 to 15 years. The Cleveland Plain Dealer reports that Stallworth's blood alcohol level at the time of the accident was .126. The legal limit in Florida is .08.

Browns WR Donte Stallworth is expected to be charged as a result of a car accident that killed a pedestrian in Miami early Saturday morning. Stallworth reportedly swerved around a car to try to beat a red light and hit Mario Reyes. Possible charges include DUI, vehicular manslaugher, and reckless driving. NFL spokesman Greg Aiello says the league is “monitoring” the situation.

The Cleveland Plain Dealer reports: "A Miami television station reported this afternoon that Miami Beach Police have released a toxicology report showing that Browns receiver Donte Stallworth's blood alcohol level was over the legal limit when he hit and killed a pedestrian last week, but a Miami Beach police spokesman refuted that report."  If Stallworth was indeed over Florida's legal limit (.08) he could face DUI manslaughter charges and up to 15 years in prison.  

The Plain Dealer reports WR Donte Stallworth says his quad is finally 100%. Sounds great, but Stallworth would have to offer a lot more than that to warrant a fantasy play. He should also be arrested for taking that guaranteed $10 million this offseason.

Browns WR Donte Stallworth is inactive today. He was listed as questionable with a quad injury. WR Syndric Steptoe will start in his place.

Browns WR Donte Stallworth caught a 3-yard TD pass from Derek Anderson at Jacksonville. He only had 3 catches for 13 yards on the day.  Stallworth was targeted 3 times, as was #3 WR Syndric Steptoe, and Braylon Edwards was targeted 6 times. The good news is his quad injury seems to be behind him. Stallworth is worth a fantasy roster spot in 12-team leagues when he's healthy. He's one of those guys that can bust a 100-yard game out of nowhere. The Browns face some patchy secondaries in the next 4 weeks - Baltimore, Denver, Buffalo, & Houston - and 3 are at home.  

The Plain-Dealer reports WR Donte' Stallworth (quadriceps) was limited Wednesday because he aggravated his injury vs. Jacksonville.  Wow, what a bum. Just when he finally caught a TD too. Stallworth got $10 million guaranteed when he signed his contract in March. 

Browns WR Donte Stallworth (quad) was a full participant every day this week for the first time since week 1. He's probable.  Donte carries some risk, using him on Monday night, but we're rolling the dice with him as a Sneaky Starter.

Donte Stallworth is questionable with his sore quads (plural).  "I want to play bad, but I'm just trying to make sure I can be comfortable out there and won't re-injure it or won't be out there messing other guys up," Stallworth told reporters. By now you wonder if he's almost stealing from the company - pocketing that big bonus and just chillin'.  What a huge disappointment. Syndric Steptoe, step up and take his job!
