The Redskins have re-signed TE Logan Paulsen to a 3-year deal. Paulsen stepped up as Washington's lead TE after Fred Davis went down last year, compiling 24 catches, 286 yards and 1 TD. He's a solid run-blocker but isn't much of a threat in the passing game. Washington is expected to either bring back Davis or add a pass-catching TE this offseason. Paulsen is unlikely to be a 2013 fantasy factor.
The Redskins are giving TE Logan Paulsen the first crack at replacing TE Fred Davis. "He's earned it," HC Mike Shanahan said. Paulsen hauled in 4 balls for 76 yards last week -- both easily career highs. He entered the contest with just 170 yards over his first 33 career games. Even with this sweet facial hair, Paulsen is a long shot to be a fantasy factor this season. Chris Cooley could quickly pass him on the depth chart if his knee is healthy.
