The Colts have waived WR Blair White. The former undrafted free agent appeared in 7 games last season – recording zero catches – before being placed on IR with a knee injury. If healthy, the 25-year-old is likely to latch on elsewhere, though his chances of becoming fantasy relevant will be slim.
Colts WR Blair White (shoulder) put in a limited practice on Wednesday. We're guessing he'll play against the Patriots this Sunday, but he won't be a fantasy option if WR Austin Collie (concussion) is ready.
Colts WR Blair White (shoulder) is inactive for today's game against the Bengals. Chris Brooks or Brandon James will play as Indy's #3 WR. Both guys were just signed off the practice squad this week and are not fantasy options. Reggie Wayne, Pierre Garcon, and Jacob Tamme will see tons of targets today.
After practicing on Wednesday, Colts WR Blair White (shoulder) sat out both Thursday and Friday's workouts. He's listed as questionable and is shaping up as a game-time decision for Sunday's tilt with the Bengals. Check back around noon ET for his official status, but White is now a risky play even if he's active. If he can't go, undrafted rookie Brandon James would fill in as Indy's slot receiver. He wouldn't be a fantasy option.
Colts President Bill Polian expects WR Blair White to remain on the active roster even when WRs Pierre Garcon (hamstring) and Anthony Gonzalez (ankle) are ready to return. "I would presume that Blair would stay up (on the roster). I absolutely think he would. We really felt like he would have made the team anyway at the cut to 53, but for the injury status on the offensive line that required us to carry extra offensive linemen," Polian explained. "I think he'll be up, and you'll see more of him." White made a strong pro debut, catching 3 balls for 27 yards and a score. He's worth an add in leagues of 12+ teams.
