If you spent 3 hours watching the NFL schedule get released on TV Thursday night, then you are much more desperate for entertainment than I am.
Network filler aside, though, we now have the final piece for mapping out the fantasy football season ahead. And most importantly, we know the bye weeks.
The league changed its bye-week distribution again. The past 2 years each found the NFL spreading byes from Week 4 through Week 12. This season, the byes begin in Week 5 and don't finish until Week 13. Oddly, we'll have 2 teams on bye in that final week, after no teams sit out Week 12.
If you're playing a season-long contest such as the FFPC, then it'll be nice to have your full roster available for Week 12, which begins your fantasy playoffs. But be aware that any Panthers or Buccaneers will miss Week 13.
