Tonight's battle features the league's last undefeated team (Philadelphia Eagles) vs. a squad that just about everyone figured was done after QB Dak Prescott went down. But the Dallas Cowboys have reeled off 4 straight victories with QB Cooper Rush.
They have done so primarily thanks to a strong defense that has yet to allow an opponent to reach 20 points. Four of those foes have fallen short of 200 passing yards -- including games against Joe Burrow and Tom Brady. Dallas forced the Commanders and Rams into a combined 5 turnovers the past 2 weeks, while each managed only 10 points.
But the Eagles arrive 5th in Football Outsiders' DVOA on offense as well as defense. They've passed and run well. The rushing offense, in particular, lines up with the softer aspect of the Cowboys' D. This could be a busy night for Miles Sanders ... and/or a sneaky spot for TDs by other Philly backs.
