This Sunday night gives us a loaded matchup with the week’s 3rd-highest over/under (53.5 points).
That’s actually down from the week high -- perhaps in part because of the snow in the forecast. But with only mild wind and temperatures around 30 degrees expected, we haven’t adjusted our fantasy outlook.
Green Bay comes off a disappointing offensive outing vs. Carolina: 24 points and 291 total yards. But that followed 2 straight games of 410+ yards and 4 weeks of 30+ points.
Tennessee, meanwhile, has gone over 420 total yards in 5 straight contests, scored 30+ in each of those and eclipsed 40 points 4 times this season (including a season-high 46 last week).
Let’s check the values …
This might be the 1st time all season that a QB has topped our DK value chart. This looks like an optimal bounce-back spot for Aaron Rodgers, though. He faces the #30 team in pass-defense DVOA. And we expect plenty of points because the offenses rank 2nd and 3rd in overall DVOA.
With high-priced options we want to fit, AJ Dillon, Anthony Firkser and Darrynton Evans will be worth a look for salary savings. Evans returned to action last game for the 1st time since Week 5. He’s not likely to get back to his 10 touches of last week unless Tennessee builds a large lead in this game. But he does add the upside of kick-return duties. Firkser’s playing time has been down the past 2 weeks, but there’s always a chance that he factors in near the end zone. Dillon faces potential role growth this week with Jamaal Williams out.
The top 6 “values” on FanDuel all carry large salaries. Aaron Jones climbs in value vs. his DK standing. Aaron Rodgers and Derrick Henry switch spots atop the pricing chart. MVS and Jonnu Smith look interesting as low-cost targets with TD hopes.
