The last game of the 2020 regular season features a team playing for a division title. Normally, that would mean some better teams.
But this is the 2020 NFC East. So we get 6-9 Washington playing for a playoff berth.
The “Football Team” does, at least, expect RB Antonio Gibson and WR Terry McLaurin to return from injuries that kept them out last week. But neither got in an actual practice this week. So they’ll be risky fantasy plays even if active.
On the Philly side, QB Jalen Hurts arrives as easily the hottest fantasy option on either offense. He’ll go without lead RB Miles Sanders, though. And top TE Dallas Goedert is out with a calf injury. Those injuries give way to strong values at each position.
Let’s get to the charts ...
DraftKings
There’s a lot more value to this matchup than we usually find. Credit injuries and offenses spreading opportunities around. The guys with 3-digit salaries often don’t even make our weekly rankings because they’re such poor bets for any opportunities. But that’s not the case with the target diffusion in both Washington and Philadelphia. Miles Sanders’ injury makes Boston Scott a lock at $1600 in DK salary. Rather than struggling to fit all the guys you want to play this time, the main struggle might be in figuring how much salary to leave on the table.
Washington TE Logan Thomas, by the way, also checks in at surprising value here. He’s averaging more DK points per game than either Antonio Gibson or J.D. McKissic for the year and has been particularly hot lately with 6+ catches in 4 straight games. Yet Thomas is $1,000+ cheaper than both teammates -- against the 8th-friendliest TE defense by our adjusted fantasy points allowed.
Thomas not only looks like a lineup lock here, he’s a strong option for the captain spot.

Boston Scott obviously stands out as a near-must on FD as well. The fact that he’s the only guy ahead of Jalen Hurts in the value chart -- despite Hurts costing $2,000 more in salary than anyone else -- shows just how much better the fantasy outlook is for Hurts than anyone else in this game.
