Note: Browns players don’t appear here. We covered the impact of Josh Gordon’s reinstatement in this article.
Stock Up: These players have moved up the Draft Sharks rankings over the past week.
Ryan Fitzpatrick, QB, Jets
Fitzpatrick and the Jets finally agreed to a 1-year deal, giving him another season at the controls of OC Chan Gailey’s offense. Fitz ranked 12th among QBs in fantasy points last year and has the potential to reach that territory again in 2016. He’ll at least have spot-start value.
Brandon Marshall and Eric Decker, WR, Jets
Both guys got small bumps with the re-signing of Fitzpatrick (although we had already at least partially factored in Fitzpatrick’s likely return). Marshall and Decker were the 2 most reliable WRs in fantasy football last year.
Philip Dorsett, WR, Colts
There’s been steady buzz on Dorsett all offseason. ESPN’s Mike Wells believes he’s “really going to surprise people” this year. Zak Keeker of the Indy Star says Dorsett is “ready to break out.” Even as the likely #3 WR, he could emerge as an upside spot-start option in what should be 1 of the league’s best passing attacks.
Stock Down: These players have moved down the Draft Sharks rankings over the past week.
Kenneth Dixon, RB, Ravens
The rookie suffered a Grade 1 MCL sprain in Thursday’s practice. It’s a minor injury but could still keep him sidelined a week or 2, according to former head team physician Dr. David Chao. Dixon can’t afford to miss much time if he wants to win an early-season role. We moved him down just a few spots in the rankings.
