Stock Up/Stock Down Report (7-23 through 7-29)

Stock Up: These players have moved up the Draft Sharks rankings over the past week.
Tom Brady, QB, Bucs
All good news for the Golden Boy this week. The Bucs added future Hall-of-Famer Julio Jones, and Chris Godwin avoided the PUP list to open training camp. We had concerns about Brady’s weaponry, especially early in the season. But it looks like he’ll be just fine. Brady climbed a couple of spots to 8th in our QB Rankings.
Rhamondre Stevenson, RB, Patriots
NBC Sports’ Peter King came away from Patriots camp believing Stevenson “probably will get the bulk of the carries” this season. We’re not going all-in on Stevenson yet and will keep a close eye on this backfield in preseason action. But, for now, Stevenson is the Patriots RB to target in fantasy drafts.
Kenneth Walker and Rashaad Penny, RBs, Seahawks
Both guys got slight boosts with Chris Carson’s retirement. We weren’t projecting Carson for a big role, though, so Walker and Penny didn’t climb much. Consider both guys no more than RB3s – and we’ll continue to monitor their battle for playing time.
James Robinson, RB, Jaguars
Robinson somewhat surprisingly dodged the PUP list to open training camp. He’s just about 7 months removed from tearing his left Achilles, but this move means the Jags believe he'll be available before Week 5.
Brian Robinson, RB, Commanders
Antonio Gibson is being eased into training camp off a hamstring injury. Robinson, meanwhile, continues to earn praise from his coaches and the media. The 3rd-round rookie is 1 of our favorite late-round RB targets.
Allen Robinson, WR, Rams
The Rams are “in love” with Robinson, The Athletic’s Robert Mays said after spending a couple of days at training camp. So are we. Make Robinson a priority target in the 5th round of your fantasy drafts.
Michael Thomas, WR, Saints
He’s back! Thomas was activated from the PUP list on Wednesday and has reportedly looked good in practice so far. Thomas isn't participating in full team drills and admitted that he's not yet back to 100%, but he’s clearly trending in the right direction with Week 1 still over a month away.
Julio Jones, WR, Bucs
He inked a 1-year, $6 million deal with the Bucs on Tuesday. Jones is 33, was limited to 10 games by a lingering hamstring injury last year and is joining a crowded WR corps. But he also remained effective when on the field last season, ranking 30th among 117 qualifiers in Pro Football Focus receiving grade and 33rd in yards per route run. We’ll see how this Tampa WR corps shakes out, but Jones is worth an upside shot as your WR4 or 5.
Donovan Peoples-Jones, WR, Browns
It was DPJ Hype Week. Scott Petrak kicked it off, saying the Browns are “big believers” in Peoples-Jones. Insider Albert Breer added that Peoples-Jones is "already a favorite" of QB Deshaun Watson. ESPN’s Jake Trotter piled on, writing that the Browns are counting on DPJ to play a “big role” in the offense. Peoples-Jones’ fantasy value, of course, is closely tied to Watson’s status.
Isaiah McKenzie, WR, Bills
McKenzie has taken full advantage of Jamison Crowder’s early camp absence. The Athletic’s Joe Buscaglia called McKenzie a “standout,” adding, “If he continues to play like this and Crowder keeps missing time, McKenzie could end this battle quickly.” McKenzie now looks like the Bills slot receiver to target late in PPR drafts.
Romeo Doubs, WR, Packers
Doubs is off to a strong start in training camp, drawing praise from both beat writers and HC Matt LaFleur. Targets are up for grabs in Green Bay following Davante Adams’ departure, and Doubs is a real threat to win a significant role this year. He’s officially on the late-round flier radar.
Daniel Bellinger, TE, Giants
The rookie had a short stint on the PUP list but returned to practice on Wednesday and immediately re-joined the 1st-team offense. Bellinger looks like the favorite to open the season as the Giants’ starting TE.
Stock Down: These players have moved down the Draft Sharks rankings over the past week.
Damien Harris, RB, Patriots
NBC Sports’ Peter King believes Rhamondre Stevenson is the favorite to lead New England’s backfield in carries this season. That’d obviously be bad news for Harris, who’s a near-zero in the passing game.
Chris Carson, RB, Seahawks
Carson, who underwent neck surgery in December, announced his retirement on Tuesday.
Mike Evans and Russell Gage, WRs, Bucs
We lowered our target projections for both guys on Tuesday, after the Bucs added Julio Jones and left Chris Godwin off the PUP list to begin training camp. We’ll see exactly how this WR corps shakes out. But, for now, we rank Evans as a low-end WR1 and Gage as a WR4/5.
Jamison Crowder, WR, Bills
Crowder has missed the start of training camp with “general soreness.” (Not great considering it’s not even August yet.) He’s now looking like an underdog to Isaiah McKenzie for the starting slot job.
Justyn Ross, WR, Chiefs
He was placed on IR and will miss the entire 2022 season after undergoing foot surgery. We’d try to keep Ross stashed on dynasty rosters, but he’s looking like a long shot for fantasy value.
