Stock Up: These players have moved up the Draft Sharks rankings over the past week.
Dalvin Cook, RB, Vikings
The rookie made another move up our rankings as buzz continues to build. Insider Albert Breer wrote this in an article earlier this week: “That job Latavius Murray signed up for in March? It’s already gone. It’s early, but the Vikings aren’t being bashful. Cook is for real.”
Ameer Abdullah, RB, Lions
Some of our volume concerns with Abdullah were quelled this week. The Detroit Free Press' Dave Birkett called him the Lions' "feature back,” while Tim Twentyman of the team's official website projected "somewhere in the neighborhood of 200-plus carries.” That’d be enough to give Abdullah a shot at top-20 fantasy finish.
Robert Kelley, RB, Redskins
The Washington Post’s Master Tesfatsion wrote on Thursday that “it’s clear” that Kelley will be the Redskins’ starter this season. He’s impressed early in camp, while rookie Samaje Perine has struggled with pass protection and ball security. We’re not putting this battle to bed yet, but Kelley is the preferred fantasy pick right now.
