Stock Up - These players have moved up the Draft Sharks rankings over the past week.
Shaun Hill, QB, Rams
Hill will replace the injured Sam Bradford as St. Louis’ starter for the season. The 34-year-old hasn’t attempted a regular season pass since September 2012. But he sports a career 62% completion rate with 41 TDs vs. 23 INTs. Hill won’t be much of a fantasy option but should be able to support the Rams’ skill-position players.
Derek Carr, QB, Raiders
Carr was lights out in the preseason, completing 67% of his passes with 4 TDs vs. 1 INT. Beat writer Vic Tafur believes there’s a “100% chance” that Carr is under center for Week 1. If that’s the case, the rookie will at least be worth rostering in 2-QB fantasy leagues.
Doug Martin, RB, Bucs
Martin’s stock continued to climb this week with the Bucs adding Pro Bowl G Logan Mankins. He’s a big upgrade to the run-blocking in front of Martin.
Jeremy Hill, RB, Bengals
Friday’s release of BenJarvus Green-Ellis locks Hill in as Cincy’s #2 RB. The rookie turned in an impressive preseason finale, racking up 160 total yards on 26 touches. He’s likely looking at 10+ carries per game this season behind Gio Bernard.
