The 2017 Fantasy Football Bye Weeks

If you’re reading this article, then you probably watched the schedule release coverage on NFL Network.

You know that the Chiefs will visit the Patriots for the Sept. 7 opener.

You probably know that these are the London games:

Ravens-Jaguars in Week 3
Dolphins-Saints in Week 4
Vikings-Browns in Week 8

You’ve likely seen that there will be 2 Monday games on Christmas weekend:

Steelers at Texans
Raiders at Eagles

You might know that the Patriots will face the Raiders in Mexico City in Week 11 (regular late-afternoon Sunday kickoff time).

Of course, because you’re a fantasy football player, you also know that the most important aspect of the schedule release is learning the bye weeks.

They start in Week 5 this year. Week 7 brings us the light 2-team slate. Weeks 9 and 11, meanwhile, hold the challenges of the 6-team byes. That Week 11 six-teamer could prove especially impactful to high-stakes players.
