The great Matt Schauf did the hard work for us here. He put together the most comprehensive QB Strength of Schedule guide you’ll find this year. Looking at recent trends in fantasy points allowed to the position, last year’s results and offseason moves, Matt projected the defenses we’ll want to attack and avoid with our QBs in 2018.
Here’s what he came up with …
Matt also dug into this year’s schedule to find the QBs with the easiest (Bucs, Bengals, Chargers) and toughest (Titans, Colts, 49ers) roads.
Now let’s take this a step further and cobble together some QB tandems that will maximize the number of positive matchups we get while minimizing the negative spots. All the QBs included here are going in the 10th round or later in recent 12-team drafts, so the duos don’t require a big investment.
These tandems are most useful in best-ball leagues with no in-season adds. But they might also make sense in deeper lineup-setting leagues where you can afford to carry 2 QBs.
In the tables below, positive matchups are highlighted in green and negative in red.
