Week 10 DraftKings Picks

RB

Tournament Targets

Nick Chubb, Browns ($7,000)

Chubb is coming off a disappointing Week 9 — and now we need to worry about Kareem Hunt eating into his workload.

That makes this a perfect time to use him in tournaments. I’ll be surprised if Hunt gets more than 6-8 touches on Sunday and think Chubb is a good bet for another 20+. He’s hit that mark in 7 of 8 games this season.

And 20+ touches in this matchup against the Bills would give Chubb massive upside. Buffalo has been getting gashed lately, giving up 4.9 yards per carry to RBs over the last 4 games. Football Outsiders now ranks the Bills 30th in run defense. They sit 23rd in DraftKings points allowed to RBs and 29th in adjusted fantasy points allowed.

David Johnson, Cardinals ($5,700)

Johnson is coming off ankle and back injuries. He figures to lose some work to Kenyan Drake. And he gets a Bucs squad that Football Outsiders ranks 1st in run defense and 2nd in RB coverage.

But that’s all offset by a huge price cut. Johnson is $1,100 cheaper than he’s been at any point this season and $2,100 cheaper than his peak price.

Don’t expect a ton of rushing production vs. this Bucs defense that’s limiting RBs to 3.3 yards per carry. But Johnson is always capable of a big outing in the passing game — especially with whispers that Arizona is looking to get D.J. and Drake on the field together. There’s also plenty of TD upside here in a game sporting a big 52-point over/under.
