I’m a high-stakes NFL DFS player who mainly plays on FanDuel and DraftKings. In this article I will be talking about some of my favorite plays on each site:
DraftKings QB: Kirk Cousins ($6,100) - Cousins has thrown for 300+ yards in 4 of 9 games this season and also has 3 rushing TDS on the year. He seems to fly under the radar every week despite showing great upside (even in tough spots at home against the Vikings and on the road against the Chiefs and Eagles). The Saints on paper appear to be a tough matchup as they have given up the 5th fewest points to opposing passers. But they’ve faced a slew of bad QBs such as Jay Cutler, Mitchell Trubisky and Brett Hundley. This defense can still be beat, and I’m expecting the Redskins to be trailing the white-hot Saints which should give Cousins enough volume to acquire the 3-point 300-yard bonus as well as a couple of passing TDs. Cousins is looking like a strong candidate to enter my cash lineup on DK this week.
FanDuel QB: Tom Brady ($8,600) – The Patriots have the highest implied total on the slate (29.3 points) as they take on the horrendous Raiders defense in Mexico City. Oakland is allowing opposing QBs to complete 71.2% of their passes — the worst mark in the league. The Raiders have allowed 4 straight QB1 performances, despite playing against Jay Cutler, Tyrod Taylor, Alex Smith and Jared Goff. Brady averages 20.79 FD points per game, and I’m expecting the Patriots to move the ball at will against this Swiss-cheese Raiders defense.
