You know what? There are 6 teams on bye this week, and car trouble has helped push this article into Wednesday afternoon. So I'm gonna skip the usual intro BS and jump right into some picks (off a nice set of performances by last week's selections) ...
QB: Marcus Mariota, Titans
Despite his 2 best outings of the season over the past 2 weeks, Mariota still finds himself available in more than 80% of ESPN leagues. (You know, assuming he checks such things.)
As we mentioned on Tuesday's podcast, Mariota's play over his past 2 games point to his throwing elbow finally getting back to normal and Tennessee's ability to exploit positive matchups. They didn't find much of the latter in the 1st half of the season, and the former might have affected the Titans' QB more than we realized.
After throwing for 6.87 yards per attempt over his 1st 6 appearances, Mariota has come out of the Week 8 bye to complete 69.8% of his throws for 8.83 yards per attempt over the past 2 games. He has also delivered his 1st 2 QB ratings of 100+ this season, each topping 119.
Just as important for Week 11 streamers, Mariota now gets a Colts defense that remains soft against the pass. Indy presents the 3rd-friendliest adjusted scoring matchup for QBs and has allowed 3+ total TDs to 3 of the past 6 QBs it has faced. Overall, just 3 opponents have failed to score at least 26 points on the Colts: Washington, Buffalo and the Week 3 version of Philly (Carson Wentz's 1st game back; no Alshon Jeffery). Most damning: Derek Carr and Blake Bortles each topped 24 fantasy points vs. Indy over the past 2 games.

Last week’s pick: Baker Mayfield (QB8 finish)
