Week 15 IDP Free Agent Focus
Denico Autry, DT, Colts
Autry followed a 3-sack, 7-tackle explosion at Jacksonville in Week 13 with another 2 sacks (4 total tackles) in Sunday's win over the Texans. Now comes a matchup with the Cowboys, who are allowing a league-high 3.7 sacks per game. Just the past 3 weeks have seen Dallas opponents rack up 14 of them.
Romeo Okwara, DE, Lions
Ezekiel Ansah re-injured his right shoulder in Sunday’s win over the Cardinals, and it didn’t look good. Any missed time for Ansah should boost the playing time for right DE Romeo Okwara, who remained a starter but saw his snaps dip after Ansah returned to action.
Okwara tallied sacks in 4 of his 1st 5 games with the Lions -- after arriving from the Giants -- with Ansah on the sideline. He managed just a half-sack total in the 5 games starting with Ansah’s return to action.
Okwara notched a full sack against Arizona on Sunday, in a game that saw Ansah leave in the 1st quarter. Week 15 brings a trip to Buffalo, which allowed 3 sacks to the Jets on Sunday. That marked the 7th time the Bills have allowed 3+. After that lies a rematch with the Vikings, whom Pro Football Focus ranked 31st in pass protection heading into Week 14.
Myles Jack, LB, Jaguars
Jack has spent most of the season posting disappointing tackle numbers. But he has delivered 10 and 13 in his past 2 outings -- with no obvious change in opportunity volume. A Week 15 home date with Washington will bring 1 of the league’s worst offenses at this point in a matchup that should present plenty of short-range plays and attractive turnover upside.
Demario Davis, LB, Saints
Davis has gone for 6, 11 and 8 tackles the past 3 weeks, raising his stat floor following a downturn. Next Monday will bring a matchup with the Panthers, who have presented a top-6 scoring matchup for fantasy LBs over the past 6 weeks. That span has included multiple 10+ tackle games and multiple sacks from ILBs.
Logan Ryan, CB, Titans
Ryan has stepped up his tackle production in recent weeks, tallying 6+ in 3 straight games and averaging 8 per outing over that span. He carries that trend into a Week 15 matchup with the Giants, who have remained a top-half scoring matchup for fantasy DBs throughout the season.
