Week 16 IDP Free Agent Focus

Fair warning: With 4 games yet to go in this goofy week of football, this is probably still a developing list. That said, as we head into the final 2 weeks of most fantasy football seasons, this also isn't the time to go reaching too much for new plays. If you made it this far, your IDP lineup is probably in at least solid shape.
Marcus Davenport, DE, Saints
Davenport had a poor Week 14 outing against the Jets. That helped make him an unattractive IDP option heading into Sunday night against a Buccaneers offense that was allowing just 1.3 sacks per game. But New Orleans beat them up for a season-high 4, including 1 for Davenport. He gets more favorable matchups with Miami and Carolina the next 2 weeks – plus a rematch with Atlanta, if you play through Week 18.
Charles Harris, DE, Lions
Harris posted a dominant fantasy line in Sunday’s win over the Cardinals, racking up a team-high 12 tackles, 1.5 sacks and 3 tackles for loss. That came in what looked like a less-favorable setting than matchups with Atlanta and Seattle the next 2 weeks.
Germain Pratt, LB, Bengals
One more call here for Pratt, who has seen elevated playing time in the wake of Logan Wilson’s shoulder injury. Pratt racked up 15 tackles and a half-sack in Sunday’s win over the Broncos. HC Zac Taylor has indicated there’s a chance that Wilson could return for Week 16, but the LB hasn’t practiced since suffering the injury. Even if he does make it back, the Baltimore matchup presents big enough tackle upside to support both of them.
Kevin Minter, LB, Buccaneers
Lavonte David left Sunday night’s loss to the Saints late with a foot injury. We’ll see about the severity this week. If he misses further time, though, Minter would return to a full-time role. Minter hit 80% playing time twice earlier this season as an injury fill-in, with mediocre tackle production each time. He won’t be a high-end option, but Carolina has been the 6th most favorable LB-scoring matchup by our adjusted fantasy points allowed.
