Terrance West, RB, Ravens
Blind-bid recommendation: 20-25%
Baltimore deactivated Justin Forsett against Oakland, and West made that look like a long-overdue move. He racked up 113 yards on 21 carries, including a late TD run.
The Raiders’ run D looked soft and has allowed the league’s 2nd-most rushing yards per game so far. But the next opponent, Washington, sits just 1 spot behind them. After that, however, come matchups with the Giants and Jets. Each of those defenses is allowing less than 3.3 yards per carry (at least before the Giants’ Monday night meeting with the Vikings).
Rookie RB Kenneth Dixon is also nearing a return to the field, and he appeared to be working ahead of West in the preseason before suffering his knee injury. Another big game from West could keep him leading the backfield and motivate the team to bring Dixon along slowly. But make sure you don’t overpay for West’s 1 good outing.
