After playing just 18 snaps and not showing up on the stat sheet in his Week 3 debut for the season, Ansah became a much bigger factor in Sunday’s win over the Cardinals. The veteran tallied 5 solo tackles and a sack, among 2 QB hits. Facing an Arizona offense that has been friendly to sack numbers helped, but a full-strength Ansah has generally ranked among the league’s top pass rushers.
He’ll face another potentially helpful spot against the Rams on Thursday night. L.A. allowed just 2 sacks to the Bucs on Sunday, but 9 total QB hits. Jared Goff entered Week 4 seeing the 7th-highest pressure rate among starting QBs, according to Pro Football Focus.
After that comes an even more positive sack matchup against the Browns.
