Jordan Love, Packers ($4,400)

It’s a Stars and Scrubs week. And we start with a Scrub.

Maybe.

We don’t know how good a QB Love is yet. He had an inconsistent college career and has generally struggled in Packers practices by most accounts. But Love also looked pretty good this preseason, completing 69% of his passes and averaging 7.7 yards per attempt.

We’re playing him for 3 reasons:

1. Price: A $4,400 QB opens up a LOT of salary space.
2. Matchup: Love gets a Chiefs defense that ranks 30th in Football Outsiders’ pass defense DVOA, 31st in DraftKings points allowed to QBs and 28th in adjusted fantasy points allowed.
3. Rushing ability: Love goes 6’3, 224 pounds with 76th percentile athleticism. He should provide some fantasy production with his legs.
