Chiefs RB Damien Williams is active for tonight's game against the Chargers. He was listed as questionable after stepping away from the team to deal with a family matter, but he should continue operating as Kansas City's lead back tonight. Williams has totaled 31 carries and 7 targets over the past 2 weeks. RB LeSean McCoy is also active tonight after being a healthy scratch last week.

Bears RB David Montgomery (ankle) is active for tonight’s game against the Rams. He’s a risky fantasy play after rolling his ankle in practice on Wednesday.

Chiefs RB Damien Williams has returned to the team after dealing with a family matter, NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports. That means Williams should be ready to play against the Chargers on Monday night. Go ahead and set him in your lineups today.

Bears RB David Montgomery is headed for a game-time decision for tonight's game against the Rams, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. Montgomery missed practice Thursday with his ankle sprain before returning to a limited Friday workout. The late kick obviously makes him risky to wait on for fantasy football lineups. If you need to wait for Montgomery, then check for Rams, Chiefs or Chargers options on the waiver wire as insurance. If Montgomery doesn't play, Tarik Cohen could be in for a big volume boost.

Chiefs RB Damien Williams is questionable for Monday night's game against the Chargers in Mexico City. HC Andy Reid said Saturday that Williams was "excused for a personal situation" but added that he "should" travel with the team for the game. Let's hope we get word on whether Williams traveled before the early Sunday games start. If Williams remains away, we'd assume RB LeSean McCoy would re-enter the picture -- but also that he'd share work with Darrel Williams. Let's hope it doesn't come to that scenario.

Bears RB David Montgomery (ankle) is listed as questionable for Sunday night’s game against the Rams. He “lightly rolled” his ankle on Wednesday, per HC Matt Nagy, didn’t practice on Thursday and was limited on Friday. The late kickoff puts fantasy owners in a tough spot here. Hopefully we get an update on Montgomery Sunday morning. His absence would leave Chicago’s backfield to Tarik Cohen and Ryan Nall.

Bears RB David Montgomery was held out of Thursday's practice with an ankle injury. HC Matt Nagy said his rookie "lightly rolled" the ankle in Wednesday's practice. That doesn't sound like a serious injury, but we can't consider Montgomery a lock for Sunday night's game against the Rams. Check back tomorrow for another update on his status. Montgomery's absence would leave Chicago's backfield to Tarik Cohen and Ryan Nall.

Bears ILB Danny Trevathan left Sunday's win over the Lions in the 1st half with a nasty left elbow injury that put his arm in a sling. ESPN's Jeff Dickerson reports that HC Matt Nagy said the team wouldn't know the extent of the injury for "a couple days." Trevathan will have an MRI Monday. Nick Kwiatkoski filled in for Trevathan and would take over the starting spot should Trevathan miss further time.

Jaguars HC Doug Marrone announced Tuesday that QB Nick Foles will be the starter coming out of the Week 10 bye. Rookie QB Gardner Minshew exceeded all expectations filling in for Foles, completing 61.2% of his passes, averaging 7.4 yards per attempt and tossing 13 TDs vs. 4 INTs. Money is winning out here, though, after Jacksonville gave Foles $50 million guaranteed this offseason. He's worth adding in all 2-QB leagues and deeper 1-QB leagues. The Jags have the easiest remaining QB schedule, including games against the Bucs (Week 13), Raiders (Week 15) and Falcons (Week 16).

NFL Network's Tom Pelissero reports that the Bengals will have a new QB when they return from their Week 9 bye. Cincinnati plans to bench Andy Dalton in favor of rookie Ryan Finley for the Week 10 home date with Baltimore. The Bengals moved up in Round 4 to draft Finley this spring after a career that included 3 starting seasons for N.C. State. Finley averaged 7.7 yards per pass attempt for the Wolfpack, with a 4.4% TD rate and 64.5% completions. He also had a solid preseason for the Bengals, completing 73.4% of his passes at 6.5 yards per attempt, with 3 TDs and 1 INT. We're certainly not boosting our fantasy outlooks for any of Cincinnati's skill-position players for a 4th-round rookie at QB, but change probably can't hurt the sputtering offense. Football Outsiders rated the Bengals 30th in overall offensive DVOA heading into Week 8, including just 27th in passing offense.

Bears RB David Montgomery is expected to get "a lot of carries" against the Chargers today, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. The rookie got the rock just twice in last week's loss to the Saints, and it sounds like HC Matt Nagy wants to rectify that. Montgomery averaged 15.8 carries over the previous 4 games, so it's not like we haven't seen Chicago feature him. There's upside here vs. the Chargers' 21st-ranked RB defense.

Cowboys DE Robert Quinn suffered a rib injury at the end of the 1st half of Sunday night's game against the Eagles and has been ruled out. Fortunately for him, Dallas gets a Week 8 bye. We'll see about the official diagnosis and return timeline here.

49ers WR Marquise Goodwin exited in the 1st quarter of Sunday's game against the Redskins to get checked for a concussion. We'll update his status when we learn more. Goodwin has 6 documented concussions already.

Update: Goodwin returned to the game.

Packers TE Jimmy Graham (ankle) only got in a limited practice on Friday but isn’t listed on the final Week 7 injury report. This looks like a case of Green Bay getting the veteran TE some rest during the week. Graham should theoretically play a big role against the Raiders on Sunday with all of the Packers’ WR injuries — although he managed just 2 catches on 5 targets last week.

Packers TE Jimmy Graham (ankle) missed his 2nd straight practice on Thursday. The team has been managing his practice reps all season, but this is the 1st time he's sat out 2 straight practices since Week 3. He ended up playing a season-low 41% of the offensive snaps and posting a goose egg that Sunday. We'll get another update on Graham tomorrow, but he's shaping up as a shaky Week 7 play.

The Bears on Tuesday placed DL Akiem Hicks on IR. NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports that Hicks had been getting opinions on the elbow he injured in their Week 5 loss to the Raiders over Chicago's bye. Even if he's a candidate to be designated to return, that wouldn't come until the end of the regular season. So IDP owners should certainly drop Hicks from redraft rosters. His absence hurts the team D outlook as well, while leaving snaps available for players such as Nick Williams and Roy Robertson-Harris.

Giants LB Alec Ogletree put in a full practice Tuesday, his 1st since suffering a hamstring injury in the 1st half of the Week 3 win at Tampa Bay. We'll see about Ogletree's status when the game reports come out Wednesday, but the veteran seems to be on track for Thursday night's clash with the Patriots.

The Titans have released K Cairo Santos. The move isn't surprising after Santos missed 4 FG tries in Sunday's loss to the Bills. That included misses from 33 and 36 yards out. We'll see who gets the next shot to fill in for Ryan Succop, who is on IR.

Bears DL Akiem Hicks left Sunday's loss to the Raiders early with "what appeared to be a dislocated left elbow," according to ESPN's Jeff Dickerson. Hicks did not return to the game. He'll get a Week 6 bye to try to get it ready to play. Hicks, of course, entered the game questionable with a knee injury that cost him Week 4.

Chiefs RB Damien Williams (knee) is active for tonight’s game against the Colts. He was listed as questionable but put in a full week of practice, so we’re expecting him to return to a significant role alongside LeSean McCoy.
