Broncos OC Pat Shurmur is in COVID protocols and won't be available for Sunday's game against the Eagles, NFL Network's Tom Pelissero reports. Shurmur is Denver's offensive play-caller, so it's less-than-ideal for QB Teddy Bridgewater and Denver's skill-position guys.

Dolphins QB Tua Tagovailoa (finger) is listed as questionable for Thursday night's game vs. the Ravens. He'll be a game-time decision. "Plan is to make a decision on where Tua’s grip, discomfort and ability to make every throw is after pregame workout," NFL Network's Cameron Wolfe tweeted. QB Jacoby Brissett will start if Tua can't. Both guys are only in play in 2-QB fantasy leagues.

Jets QB Mike White will start Sunday's game against the Bills, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. "Zach Wilson will use the week to get healthier," Rapoport adds. White was playing well again before injuring his forearm in last Thursday night's game vs. the Colts, completing 7 of 11 passes for 95 yards and a score. He's just a low-end QB2 vs. a tough Buffalo defense. But White has targeted RBs on about 40% of his passes, so this is good news for RB Michael Carter.

Dolphins HC Brian Flores labeled QB Tua Tagovailoa (finger) a game-time decision for Thursday night's meeting with the Ravens. Dealing with a small fracture in the middle finger of his throwing hand, Tagovailoa reportedly couldn't throw hard enough in pregame warmups this past weekend to play vs. the Texans. He'd obviously be a risky fantasy play if he starts Thursday night's game.

Dolphins QB Tua Tagovailoa is dealing with a small fracture in the middle finger of his throwing hand, ESPN's Adam Schefter reports. He's active but only as QB Jacoby Brissett's backup vs. the Texans today. While this isn't a long-term injury, per Schefter, Tagovailoa's availability for this Thursday night's game vs. the Ravens is "in question." We'll keep an eye on him this coming week.

Dolphins LB Jerome Baker (knee) is active for today's game against the Texans. There's clear upside to the matchup but also the chance Baker sees his playing time limited after missing Week 8 with the knee injury.

Dolphins QB Tua Tagovailoa (ribs, finger) will not start today's game vs. the Texans, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. Tua reportedly didn't feel good enough during pre-game warmups to start, but he will be active as QB Jacoby Brissett's backup. It's a missed opportunity in an excellent matchup. Brissett was decent in 3 starts earlier this season, averaging 230 yards and 1.3 TDs on a 67% completion rate but just 5.8 yards per attempt. He's only in play in 2-QB and Superflex leagues and is a slight downgrade for Miami's offense.

49ers RB Jeff Wilson (knee) has been activated from the PUP list. That figures to mean he'll suit up for Sunday's game vs. the Cardinals. We'll see how big a role he plays. Wilson is a fine stash in deeper leagues but isn't a viable Week 9 fantasy play.

Dolphins LB Jerome Baker is questionable for Sunday's game against the Texans. He's dealing with the same knee injury that knocked him out of Week 7 early and then kept him out of last week's game against the Bills. We'll check his status Sunday morning.

Dolphins QB Tua Tagovailoa (left finger) was limited in practice all week and is listed as questionable for Sunday’s game vs. the Texans. HC Brian Flores said Friday that he’s “optimistic” Tua will play. But any injury to a finger on a QB’s throwing hand is a concern.

Dolphins QB Tua Tagovailoa is dealing with a left (throwing) finger injury after banging it on a helmet in last week's loss to the Bills, HC Brian Flores said Friday. Tua is "sore and swollen" and has "some discomfort," Flores said, adding that he's "optimistic" Tagovailoa will be able to play vs. the Texans on Sunday. He's gotten in 2 limited practices so far this week. We'll see what Tagovailoa does on Friday and how he's listed on the final injury report.

Jets QB Mike White "should be ok" after getting knocked out of Thursday night's game vs. the Colts, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. White told reporters after the loss that the forearm was already feeling better. It sounds like there's a good shot he's available for Week 10's game against the Bills.

Jets QB Mike White appeared to injured his right wrist in the 1st quarter of Thursday night's game vs. the Colts. He tried throwing on the sidelines but looked uncomfortable. QB Josh Johnson has entered for the Jets. White was playing well again before exiting, completing 7 of 11 passes for 95 yards and a score.

Update: White is officially questionable to return with a right forearm injury.

49ers HC Kyle Shanahan said RB Jeff Wilson (knee) will be designated to return from IR and practice this week. He's been out since May surgery to repair a torn meniscus in his knee. Wilson figures to need at least a week to get his legs back under him, so don't expect him to play in Week 9. We'll see if he's ready come Week 10. Wilson's most likely role will be as a short-yardage and goal-line back.

Dolphins LB Jerome Baker (knee) is inactive for today's game against the Bills. When Baker left last week's game early, Sam Eguavoen led Miami LBs with 84% playing time. Andrew Van Ginkel (76%) and Elandon Roberts (70%) followed. There's no safe bet in the corps for IDP lineups.

Dolphins LB Jerome Baker (knee) is questionable for Sunday's game against the Bills after putting in limited practices all week. We'll check his status Sunday morning.

Dolphins LB Jerome Baker left Sunday's loss to the Falcons with a knee injury. ESPN's Marcel Louis-Jacques reports that Baker already had an MRI and that it "came back clean." We'll see about the LB's availability for Week 8 at Buffalo. Sam Eguavoen wound up leading Miami LBs with 84% snap share against Atlanta.

Dolphins CB Xavien Howard (shoulder, groin) and CB Byron Jones (Achilles', groin) are both active for today's game against the Falcons. Both players missed Miami's last game. Their return certainly helps the pass defense. EDGE Jaelan Phillips (ankle) is active for the game as well. He entered the day questionable.

Chiefs WR Tyreek Hill (quad) is active for today’s game against the Titans. He was listed as questionable after only getting in a limited practice on Friday. But Hill was in the same boat last week before posting a 9-76-1 line on Washington, despite only playing 57% of the snaps. There’s still some added risk here, but Hill remains a must-start in season-long leagues.

ESPN's Adam Schefter confirms that Chiefs WR Tyreek Hill (quad) will play vs. the Titans today. Like last week, Hill got in just 1 limited practice this week and is listed as questionable. But he played through this injury -- and produced -- in last Sunday's win over Washington.
