Dolphins WR Jaylen Waddle (ankle) practiced fully on Friday and doesn't carry an injury tag for Sunday's Wild Card game vs. the Bills. Teammate WR Cedrick Wilson (hip, groin) is listed as questionable. With rookie QB Skylar Thompson set to be the starter this weekend, the fantasy appeal of all Dolphins' pass-catchers takes a tangible hit. Waddle has a combined 8 catches and 96 receiving yards in the last 2 games with Thompson primarily serving as the QB. Be cautious with Waddle and any other receiver on the Dolphins for fantasy playoff contests. The upside simply isn't there for any of them.

Dolphins RB Raheem Mostert (thumb) didn't practice all week and has been ruled out for Sunday's Wild Card game vs. the Bills. This news swings the door wide open for RB Jeff Wilson Jr. to lead the backfield in this contest. The Bills' defense has been tough all season and ranks 3rd-best in Football Outsiders' run defense DVOA over the last 4 weeks. Even so, Wilson Jr. projects to have enough volume sans Mostert to be an effective fantasy option in playoff formats.

Dolphins RB Raheem Mostert (thumb) missed practice for the 2nd-straight day on Thursday. Teammate RB Jeff Wilson Jr. (illness) upgraded to full practice. There's still one more day of practice left for Mostert to log some participation in advance of Sunday's Wild Card game vs. the Bills. Be sure to keep an eye out for updates tomorrow.

Dolphins WR Jaylen Waddle (ankle) once again practiced in a limited fashion on Thursday. Teammate Cedrick Wilson (hip, groin) logged limited participation as well. It's good to see this duo is managing some work in practice so far. We'll have their final injury designations for Sunday's Wild Card game vs. the Bills tomorrow.

Dolphins RB Jeff Wilson Jr. (illness) was a limited practice participant on Wednesday. Fellow RB Raheem Mostert (thumb) did not practice. The health of the Dolphins' backfield will be of great interest ahead of Sunday's Wild Card contest vs. the Bills, particularly with QB Tua Tagovailoa already ruled out for this game. Check back tomorrow for more information regarding this duo of backs.

Dolphins WR Jaylen Waddle (ankle) practiced in a limited fashion on Wednesday. Teammate WR Cedric Wilson (hip, groin) was also listed as limited on the injury report. There are plenty of injuries on this Dolphins roster ahead of Sunday's Wild Card game vs. the Bills to keep an eye on. We'll be sure to give an update on these pass-catchers tomorrow.

Dolphins HC Mike McDaniel told reporters Wednesday that QB Tua Tagovailoa is out for Sunday's playoff opener against the Bills. Doctors have yet to clear the QB for football activity coming off his latest concussion. ESPN's Adam Schefter reports that Miami is preparing as though Skylar Thompson will start. That doesn't rule out the possibility of Teddy Bridgewater returning from the finger injury on his throwing hand, but you should prepare as though the rookie will line up behind center. This obviously downgrades Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle for all fantasy football formats.

Dolphins HC Mike McDaniel wouldn't say Monday where QB Tua Tagovailoa is in the concussion protocol but did say that he's seen Tagovailoa "sweating" in workouts. That suggests that Tua is at least in Stage 2 of the 5-stage protocol, giving him a chance to be cleared for Sunday's Wild Card game vs. the Bills. McDaniel said Monday that he'll have game plans for all 3 potential starting QBs, with both Tagovailoa and Teddy Bridgewater (finger) iffy. We'll get Miami's first practice report of the week on Wednesday.

Dolphins RB Raheem Mostert suffered a broken thumb in Sunday's win over the Jets. He garnered 11 carries and 2 targets in that one before leaving in the 3rd quarter. The injury doesn't necessarily mean Mostert will miss the Wild Card game against the Bills, but it's tough to imagine him getting significant backfield work with 1 full hand. Mostert's likely absence boosts the upside of Jeff Wilson Jr. for this weekend. We're certainly not betting on Miami getting to Round 2, though.

Dolphins RB Raheem Mostert is questionable to return for Sunday's game vs. the Jets with a thumb injury. We'll update his status when we know more. Mostert's absence leaves Miami's backfield to Jeff Wilson.

Update: Mostert has been ruled out.

Dolphins WR Tyreek Hill injured an ankle in the 1st quarter of Sunday's game vs. the Jets and is officially questionable to return. We'll update his status when we know more.

Update: Hill returned for the start of the 2nd half.

Jets QB Mike White (ribs) is officially inactive for today’s game vs. the Dolphins. QB Joe Flacco gets the start; QB Zach Wilson is the backup.

Patriots TE Jonnu Smith (concussion) is out for today's game vs. the Bills. That gives TE Hunter Henry the potential to play a big role again. He registered a 100% route rate and 18% target share last week. The issue is the matchup against the Bills, who rank 2nd in both adjusted fantasy points allowed to TEs and Football Outsiders' TE coverage rankings.

Dolphins WR Jaylen Waddle (shoulder) practiced fully on Friday and doesn't carry an injury tag ahead of Week 18 vs. the Jets. The second-year wideout isn't as appealing of a fantasy option this week as he usually is. With rookie QB Skylar Thompson set to be the starter and the Jets' defense being the single-toughest matchup for WRs in adjusted fantasy points allowed this season, we feel Waddle is more of a high-end WR3/flex option in lineups.

The Jets have ruled QB Mike White out for Sunday's game against the Dolphins. He went from a full Wednesday practice to limited Thursday and then this, so the rib injury clearly remains a significant issue. He played as though that was the case at Seattle in Week 17. QB Joe Flacco will start, with Zach Wilson backing up, according to Zack Rosenblatt of The Athletic. A healthy Flacco instead of a hurting White is probably better for the fantasy outlook of WR Garrett Wilson and the rest of the Jets' pass-catchers. Check our Week 18 fantasy football rankings to see where everyone sits.

Dolphins WR Jaylen Waddle (shoulder) was a limited practice participant on Thursday. This marks the 2nd straight day of limited participation for Waddle ahead of Week 18 vs. the Jets. Friday's injury report should help give us a better idea regarding his availability for Sunday's game. We'll be sure to keep an eye on this one.

Jets QB Mike White (ribs) practiced in a limited fashion on Thursday. We'll keep an eye on his status on tomorrow's injury report ahead of Week 18 vs. the Dolphins. Stay tuned for further updates.

Dolphins WR Jaylen Waddle (shoulder) practiced in a limited fashion on Wednesday. This isn't exactly an ideal start for the week for the second-year wideout. Be sure to check back for updates regarding his status for Week 18 vs. Jets as the week unfolds.

Jets QB Mike White (ribs) practiced fully on Wednesday. Assuming nothing changes, White is set to be the starter for Week 18 vs. the Dolphins. We'll let you know if conflicting information arises at any point this week.

Dolphins HC Mike McDaniel conceded Monday that QB Tua Tagovailoa (concussion) is not in the team's Week 18 plans. QB Teddy Bridgewater dislocated his right pinkie in the loss to the Patriots, which seemingly makes QB Skylar Thompson the favorite to start Sunday's must-win game vs. the Jets.
