Shark Bites are the latest fantasy football news & NFL updates. Draft Sharks has been in business since 1999. And when we started, redraft was the dominant form of fantasy football. Check out what we've learned about this most basic form of fantasy football along the way.
Raiders TE Darren Wallker (hamstring) will be inactive for today's game vs. the Saints, ESPN's Adam Schefter reports. Waller put in 3 limited practices this week and should have a good chance to make it back for Week 9. Foster Moreau gets another game as Vegas' lead TE today, but he draws New Orleans' 2nd-ranked TE defense.
Raiders TE Darren Waller (hamstring) was limited in practice all week and is listed as questionable for Sunday’s game vs. the Saints. He’s been out since Week 5 but seemingly has a shot to return for this one. That hamstring – plus a matchup against the #2 TE defense – would make Waller more of a low-end TE1 if he does suit up.
Giants TE Daniel Bellinger (eye) is out for Sunday’s game vs. the Seahawks. The rookie is expected to miss multiple weeks after undergoing surgery this week to repair a fractured eye socket and septum. New York is down to Chris Myarick and Tanner Hudson at TE.
Raiders TE Darren Waller (hamstring) remained limited in Thursday's practice. He seemingly has a shot to return for this weekend's game vs. the Saints. We'll see how he's listed on Friday's final injury report.
Raiders TE Darren Waller (hamstring) got in a limited practice on Wednesday. That seemingly gives him a chance to return for this weekend's game vs. the Saints. We'll get another update on his progress tomorrow.
Giants TE Daniel Bellinger will undergo surgery this week to repair a fractured eye socket and septum, according to the New York Post's Paul Schwartz. It's not believed to be a season-ending injury, per Schwartz, but expect Bellinger to miss multiple games. The rookie had emerged as a significant part of New York's passing game, drawing 16 targets over his last 4 healthy games. His absence will leave New York with TEs Chris Myarick and Tanner Hudson -- and free up a few more targets for RB Saquon Barkley and WR Wan'Dale Robinson.
Giants rookie WR Wan'Dale Robinson led the team in targets (8) and receptions (6) in Sunday's win over the Jaguars, tallying 50 yards in his 2nd game back from the knee injury. WR Darius Slayton checked in 2nd with 6 targets, catching 3 of them for a team-high 58 yards.
Giants TE Daniel Bellinger was poked in the eye in the 2nd quarter of Sunday's game vs. the Jaguars. It immediately swelled up, and Bellinger had to be carted to the locker room. We'll update his status when we know more.
Raiders TE Darren Waller (hamstring) is out for Sunday's game vs. the Texans. He didn't practice all week, so it's possible that he misses more time. TE Foster Moreau (knee) is off the final injury report after putting in a full practice on Friday. He'll be Vegas' lead pass-catching TE this weekend and is a lower-end spot-start option. Moreau averaged 4.8 targets, 3.7 catches and 41 yards in 6 games without Waller last year -- although that came in a different offense.
Raiders TE Darren Waller (hamstring) remained sidelined for Thursday's practice. He's looking like a long shot to play vs. the Texans this weekend. TE Foster Moreau (knee) was limited again on Thursday.
Raiders TE Darren Waller (hamstring) did not practice on Wednesday. He hurt that hammy early in Week 5 and still isn't ready to go coming off the bye week. He's clearly iffy for Sunday's game vs. the Texans. TE Foster Moreau (knee) got in a limited practice on Wednesday. He could be a viable Week 7 fantasy play if he's healthy by Sunday and Waller is out.
Broncos TE Greg Dulcich made his NFL debut vs. the Chargers on Monday night and immediately stepped into the lead TE role. He paced Broncos TEs with a 71% snap rate and 79% route rate. Dulcich garnered 3 targets (an 11% share), catching 2 for 44 yards and Denver's only TD of the night. If the rookie can hang around an 80% route rate, he has a chance to be a viable fantasy option moving forward. Dulcich should be rostered in fantasy leagues of 12+ teams.
Broncos TE Greg Dulcich has been activated for tonight's game vs. the Chargers. The rookie missed a bunch of practice time this spring and summer but has a chance to carve out a real role in this passing game the rest of the way. We'll be keeping a close eye on his usage tonight.
Bills RB Devin Singletary rushed 17 times and drew 5 targets in Sunday's win over the Chiefs. That marked 91.7% of total RB opportunities for the team in the game. Singletary gained 85 yards on the ground and caught 4 passes for 22 yards. He ranked 2nd on the team in targets and receptions. James Cook carried twice for 8 yards, the team's only other 2 RB opportunities. RB Zack Moss hit the game as a heathy scratch.
Giants QB Daniel Jones threw for just 173 yards in Sunday's win over the Ravens. He tossed TD passes to rookies TE Daniel Bellinger and WR Wan'Dale Robinson. Bellinger led the team with 5 targets catching all of them for 38 yards. Robinson tied Marcus Johnson for 2nd on the team with 4 looks. He caught 3 for 37 yards. RB Saquon Barkley was the only other Giant with more than 2 receptions.
Giants WR Wan'Dale Robinson (knee) is active for today’s game vs. the Ravens. It’ll be the rookie’s 1st action since going down in the opener. The G-Men are obviously desperate for pass-catching help, but it’s unclear how big a role Robinson will play in this one. We’d try to avoid him in season-long leagues, but he’s an intriguing flier in DFS tournaments.
Giants WR Wan'Dale Robinson (knee) is expected to play vs. the Ravens today, per NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. It'll be the rookie's 1st action since the opener. We'd try not to use him in season-long fantasy lineups, but Robinson is an intriguing cheap DFS tournament play.
Giants WR Wan'Dale Robinson (knee) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game vs. the Ravens after a limited week of practice. It looks like the rookie will return for this one after going down back in Week 1. Robinson has a shot to carve out a big role in this passing game, but we'd shy away from using him in season-long fantasy lineups in his 1st game back. He's in play for DFS tournaments, though.
Giants WR Wan'Dale Robinson (knee) got in a limited practice on Wednesday. He was limited last Wednesday and Thursday but sidelined on Friday before missing the Packers game. We'll see if the rookie can make it back for Sunday's game vs. the Ravens, but he shouldn't be in your Week 6 fantasy plans.
Broncos HC Nathaniel Hackett said Tuesday that TE Greg Dulcich is ready to return to practice. The rookie missed time in the spring with a core-muscle injury and most of training camp with a hamstring. He probably has a lot of catching up to do, but Dulcich has a chance to eventually claim a significant role with TE Albert Okwuegbunam in the doghouse.
