Williams reportedly "may miss time, but it's not expected to be much." It seems we should expect Williams to miss at least the Week 3 game, but we'll watch for updates.

Seahawks RB Kenneth Walker (hernia) is not listed on the final Week 2 injury report. He put in full practices on Wednesday and Friday and a limited workout on Thursday. Walker is ready to make his NFL debut vs. the 49ers this weekend, although we’re expecting him to work behind RB Rashaad Penny.

Seahawks WR D.K. Metcalf ended Week 1 with 7 grabs for 36 yards on a team-high 7 targets. Not exactly the type of line you’d expect from Metcalf, right? The burner didn’t see any downfield targets from Geno Smith, but he did show his strong hands with a few catches in tight coverage. Monday also presented a tough matchup with rising star Patrick Surtain Jr. Sunday turns up a road matchup with the 49ers.

"Yeah, I think that they understand that, that it's always on," Carroll told The News Tribune. The team planned to start Drew Lock in the 2nd preseason game before COVID knocked him out for it. He then tossed 3 INTs in the finale. "He's disappointed," Carroll said of Lock. "But I know he knows how we think of him, and how we trust he's got a big future." Carroll has sounded at multiple points as though he wants Lock to emerge and expected it to happen. We'll see where this goes in season, for a team that's tied for the 3rd-lowest Vegas projected win total.

We’ll have to see how he responds.” It sounds like Walker isn't a lock to be ready for Week 1, as had been reported originally. Look for Rashaad Penny to operate as Seattle's lead back for at least the first few weeks of the season.
