New York Jets Fantasy Football News | Shark Bites

Shark Bites are the latest fantasy football news & NFL updates. Draft Sharks has been in business since 1999. And when we started, redraft was the dominant form of fantasy football. Check out what we've learned about this most basic form of fantasy football along the way.

Jets RB Breece Hall (knee) is expected to play vs. the Jaguars on Sunday, according to ESPN's Rich Cimini. "Looks good ... promising," interim HC Jeff Ulbrich said of Hall's Week 15 status on Friday. Hall did not practice on Wednesday or Thursday, so it's safe to assume he's still not at 100%. We're frankly surprised that the Jets would play Hall in this meaningless game -- and would be even more surprised if he handles a big workload. Hall tallied just 12 carries and one target playing through this knee injury back in Week 13. Consider him no better than a risky RB2 in Week 15 fantasy lineups, despite the plus matchup. Hall's return knocks RBs Braelon Allen and Isaiah Davis out of consideration.

Update: Hall is listed as questionable but was a full participant in Friday's practice.

Jets interim HC Jeff Ulbrich said Wednesday that RB Breece Hall is "struggling a bit" with his knee injury. “Maybe it’s not improving as much as he’d like, at this point," Ulbrich added. "We’ll see how it goes this week.” We'll keep you posted on Hall's progress over the next few days, but fantasy owners should not be counting on him playing in a meaningless game vs. the Jaguars on Sunday. RBs Braelon Allen and Isaiah Davis split work almost right down the middle with Hall out last week.

Jets QB Aaron Rodgers had one of his best games of the season in today’s loss to the Dolphins, throwing for 339 yards, one TD, and 0 INTs. Sunday marked his first game over 300 yards since December 12, 2021.

The Jets are not planning to shut down RB Breece Hall (knee), ESPN's Adam Schefter reports. It's still unclear when Hall might be ready to return from what's been reported as hyperextension and MCL issues in his previously surgically repaired left knee. We'll track his practice participation this coming week, as well as what the Jets' backfield looks like with rookies Braelon Allen and Isaiah Davis today.

Jets RB Breece Hall (knee) has been downgraded to out for Sunday's game vs. the Dolphins. He's dealing with a hyperextension and MCL issue in his left knee, according to ESPN's Rich Cimini. That's the same knee in which Hall tore the ACL in October 2022. We haven't heard a timeline for Hall's return, but it's possible that the 3-9 Jets just shut him down for the season. He's worth keeping stashed on all fantasy rosters for now, but Hall owners should be prepping to be without him beyond just this week.

Jets WR Allen Lazard (chest) put in a full week of practice and is not listed on the final injury report. He’ll play vs. the Dolphins on Sunday for the first time since Week 7. Lazard should slide back in as New York’s No. 3 WR but would be a desperation fantasy play.

Jets RB Breece Hall (knee) is listed as doubtful for Sunday's game vs. the Dolphins. It looks like he made the knee injury worse playing through it last week. We'll see if Hall misses time beyond Week 14 for a Jets team that's just playing out the string on the season. Hall's absence this weekend leaves the backfield to rookies Braelon Allen and Isaiah Davis. Allen is a good bet to lead in carries, but this Jets coaching staff seems to like what Davis has given them lately. He could be more involved than expected.

Jets RB Breece Hall (knee) missed his second straight practice on Thursday. That's a downgrade from last week, when Hall was limited on Thursday. He's not a lock to play vs. the Dolphins this weekend. Hall's absence would leave Braelon Allen as the Jets' likely lead back, with Isaiah Davis as the No. 2. Check back tomorrow for another update on Hall.

Jets WR Allen Lazard (chest) was designated to return from IR and put in a full practice on Wednesday. He should be back as New York's No. 3 WR vs. the Dolphins this weekend. But, even with six teams on bye this week, Lazard is not a recommended fantasy start.

Jets RB Breece Hall (knee) did not practice on Wednesday. He played through this issue last week, although his 61% snap rate was a season low. We'll keep an eye on Hall's status over the next few days. We're expecting him to play against the Dolphins on Sunday, but he sits lower than usual in the Week 14 Rankings.

Jets RB Breece Hall entered Sunday's game questionable with a knee issue and finished the loss to Seattle with his smallest playing-time share of the season. Hall played 61.8% of the offensive snaps, marking just the second time all year that he played less than 70%. Hall had played 74-87% in each of the previous seven games.

Jets WRs Davante Adams and Garrett Wilson each caught five passes in Sunday's loss to the Seahawks. Adams led the team, though, in targets (12) and receiving yards (66), and caught one of two Aaron Rodgers TD passes. Wilson drew 10 targets and tallied 41 yards.

Jets RB Breece Hall (knee) is active for today’s game vs. the Seahawks. He was a full participant in Friday’s practice, so we’re not expecting the knee to be a major issue today.

ESPN's Adam Schefter confirms that Jets RB Breece Hall (knee) is expected to play vs. the Seahawks today. Hall got in a full practice on Friday and said afterward that he'd be ready for this one. He's safe to keep in Week 13 fantasy lineups.

The Jets list RB Breece Hall (knee) as questionable for this weekend’s game vs. the Seahawks. He was a full participant in Friday’s practice, though, and both Hall and interim HC Jeff Ulbrich said Hall is expected to be ready to face Seattle. He can stay penciled into Week 13 fantasy lineups for now. We’ll get the Jets’ inactives around 11:30 am ET on Sunday.

Jets RB Breece Hall (knee) returned to a limited practice on Thursday. That should have him on track to play vs. the Seahawks this weekend, but we'll see how he's listed on the final injury report tomorrow.

Jets RB Breece Hall did not practice on Wednesday. HC Jeff Ulbrich said Hall "got nicked in the knee" back in Week 11 and is still dealing with some soreness. "So we’re just gonna protect him from himself a little bit today," Ulbrich added. "We’ll see how the week goes along. Still hopeful that he’s gonna play for us, we’ll see." RB Braelon Allen would likely step into a workhorse role if Hall is unable to play vs. the Seahawks on Sunday. We'll update his status again tomorrow.

The Athletic's Dianna Russini hears that it's "increasingly likely" that Jets QB Aaron Rodgers will be placed on IR or benched over the next few weeks. Russini adds that "no decisions have been made yet." But it's become clear over the last month that Rodgers has no future with the Jets beyond 2024, so it wouldn't be shocking to see the team pull the plug early.

Jets WR Garrett Wilson was targeted eight times but only caught four passes for 18 yards in the Jets loss to the Colts. WR Davante Adams caught six of seven targets for 72 yards however.

Jets RB Breece Hall dominated the Colts both on the ground and through the air. He ended with 78 yards rushing on 16 carries. He also caught seven passes for 43 yards and a TD.
