The Jets' offense was again putrid in Week 13's loss vs. the Falcons. The team benched QB Tim Boyle in the contest and has now moved on to its fourth signal-caller of the year, Trevor Siemian. Unfortunately, RB Breece Hall continues to be hamstrung by these poor circumstances. The second-year back posted 13 carries for 16 rushing yards on Sunday and only managed to bail out fantasy managers in PPR leagues by securing 6 catches for 29 yards. The Jets' remaining schedule isn't scary (18th RB strength of schedule per our adjusted fantasy points allowed), but the dismal offense relegates Hall to mid-to-low-end RB2 status from here on out.

Jets RB Breece Hall (hamstring) is active for today’s game vs. the Falcons. He practiced all week, including a full workout on Friday, so we’re not expecting the hammy to be an issue. RB Dalvin Cook (shoulder) is also active.

A source tells NFL Network's Ian Rapoport that Jets QB Aaron Rodgers (Achilles) is "unlikely" to play again this season. Rodgers got back on the practice field this week -- less than three months after tearing his Achilles. But the thought all along was that he'd only play again if the Jets were still in the playoff hunt. At 4-7, they'd likely need to win out to earn a postseason berth. So we'll be forced to watch more Tim Boyle or Zach Wilson or Trevor Siemian the rest of the way. Rodgers is at least on track to return to save WR Garrett Wilson and RB Breece Hall in 2024.

Jets RBs Breece Hall (hamstring) and Dalvin Cook (shoulder) are expected to play vs. the Falcons today, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. Hall practiced all week, including a full workout on Friday, so we're not too worried about the hamstring.

Jets RB Breece Hall (hamstring) is listed as questionable for this weekend’s game vs. the Falcons. He practiced all week, including a full workout on Friday, so we’re fully expecting Hall to play. We’ll get the Jets’ inactives around 11:30 am ET on Sunday. RB Dalvin Cook (shoulder) is also questionable.

Jets QB Aaron Rodgers (Achilles) has been designated to return from IR. It means he'll be back on the practice field this week. NFL Network's Ian Rapoport said on Sunday that Rodgers is still targeting a Week 16 return -- but we remain skeptical that he'll play again this season for a Jets team without a realistic chance to make the playoffs. We'll keep you updated on the situation. If Rodgers does return, it'd be excellent news for the late-season fantasy prospects of RB Breece Hall and WR Garrett Wilson.

Jets QB Aaron Rodgers (Achilles) is still hoping to get back on the field for the Week 16 game against the Commanders, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. (What QB wouldn't want to play against that pass defense?!) There's a chance that Rodgers returns to practice this coming week, per Rapoport, although getting back on the practice field the following week is considered more likely. This is a bit of a surprise since earlier reports said Rodgers would only return if the Jets were in the playoff hunt. They have less than a 1% chance to make it after Friday's loss to the Dolphins, according to The New York Times' model. But Rodgers is obviously out to prove something with this return from a torn Achilles. And it'd be nice to build some positive momentum heading into 2024. Rodgers would be tough to trust in fantasy lineups if he does make it back. But it'd be excellent news for WR Garrett Wilson and RB Breece Hall's late-season fantasy value.

Jets WR Allen Lazard is a healthy scratch for today’s game vs. the Dolphins. He has just 20 catches for 290 yards and one TD this season and has been charged with seven drops. New York will trot out some combination of WRs Xavier Gipson, Jason Brownlee, Irvin Charles, and Randall Cobb behind alpha Garrett Wilson.

Jets WR Garrett Wilson managed just two catches for nine yards in Sunday's 32-6 loss to the Bills. QB Zach Wilson was benched after throwing for just 81 yards through the game's first 42 minutes. QB Tim Boyle threw for only 33 yards the rest of the way. Wilson did lead the Jets with eight targets for a strong 27.6% share. But most of those targets had very little chance of actually being completed. Wilson, of course, has been producing solid fantasy numbers all season in spite of bad QB play. So we have to believe the elbow injury that had him questionable coming in played a part. We'll keep an eye on that this coming week, along with the Jets' plans at QB. It won't be pretty regardless of who's under center, but Wilson's talent plus volume should allow him to rebound. He gets a plus Week 12 matchup vs. the Dolphins, and the Jets have the eighth easiest WR schedule from Weeks 12 through 17.

Jets WR Garrett Wilson (elbow) is active for today’s game vs. the Bills. He was able to play through this issue last week but admitted on Friday that the elbow will be a factor today. It adds risk to Wilson’s Week 11 fantasy profile, but he still belongs in most fantasy lineups.

Packers QB Aaron Rodgers' most likely return target from his Achilles injury is Week 16, NFL Network's Ian Rapoport hears. Rodgers will only return "if he can protect himself" and if the Jets remain in the playoff hunt, Rapoport adds. At 4-5, the Jets would likely need to win at least three of their next five games to stay alive for a playoff spot. Their opponents: Bills, Dolphins, Falcons, Texans, and Dolphins again. We'd still consider Rodgers unlikely to play again this season. And even if he did, he'd be tough to trust as a QB1 in fantasy lineups. We'll continue to monitor the situation.

Jets WR Garrett Wilson told reporters on Friday that he'll play vs. the Bills this weekend, despite being listed as questionable with his elbow injury. "It's doing better," Wilson said. "I'm feeling good, so we're going to rock this weekend." But Wilson also admitted that the injury will limit him, according to ESPN's Rich Cimini. We'll look for further updates on just how limited Wilson will be. For now, we're still expecting him to play a full slate of snaps. The elbow obviously adds risk, but Wilson still belongs in most fantasy lineups. He’s racked up 52 targets over his last four games.

Jets WR Garrett Wilson (elbow) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game vs. the Bills. He was able to play through this issue last week and got in three limited practices this week. HC Robert Saleh said Friday morning that Wilson still has "some hurdles to clear" but should be able to play this weekend. We'll keep you updated on Wilson's status. We won't get the Jets' inactives until a little before 3 pm ET on Sunday.

Update: Wilson told reporters Friday afternoon that he'll play this weekend.

Jets QB Aaron Rodgers (Achilles) told NBC's Melissa Stark that his goal is to be back by mid-December. "I know it sounds insane, but if you do a good surgery, have a good patient, it makes this possible," Rodgers said. The Jets play the Texans on December 10 and the Dolphins on December 17. A goal, of course, doesn't necessarily mean that Rodgers will definitely be back this season. Whether the Jets are still alive for a playoff spot will also likely impact whether he returns. Rodgers couldn't be trusted as more than a QB2 that late in the season if he does make it back, so he's only worth stashing in 2-QB and superflex leagues.

Jets WR Garrett Wilson hauled 7 of 13 targets with 80 receiving yards on Monday night vs. the Chargers. Week 9 marks the sixth time that Wilson has gone for at least 10 PPR points in eight games played this season. For as putrid as the Jets’ offense has been at times this year, Wilson can be counted on to return at least flex-level value for fantasy managers. He’ll face a stingy Raiders defense (fifth-toughest WR matchup in adjusted fantasy points allowed) in Week 10. Still, we can count on Wilson to hit paydirt.

Jets RB Breece Hall ended Monday night with just 50 yards on 16 carries vs. the Chargers. The Jets’ offensive line was not effective in Week 9. Hall’s longest run was a 10-yarder, and the team allowed QB Zach Wilson to be sacked a season-high 8 times. The good news, however, is that Dalvin Cook and Michael Carter combined for 8 total touches to Hall’s 20 in the contest. Volume certainly wasn’t the issue. Hall should have a much better time in Week 10 against a Raiders defense that ranks as the fifth-easiest RB matchup in adjusted fantasy points allowed.

Jets WR Allen Lazard (knee) is active for tonight's game vs. the Chargers. He was added to the injury report on Saturday and listed as questionable, making him a risky fantasy play (as we saw with Colts WR Josh Downs yesterday). WR Randall Cobb is a healthy scratch tonight.

Jets WR Allen Lazard (knee) was added to the injury report on Saturday and is questionable for Monday night's game vs. the Chargers. Averaging just 6.9 PPR points per game, Lazard wasn't a viable fantasy play even before the knee issue. His absence would leave behind 4.1 targets for guys like WR Garrett Wilson, WR Randall Cobb, and TE Tyler Conklin.

The Giants placed QB Tyrod Taylor (ribs) on IR, knocking him out for at least the next four games. QB Daniel Jones (neck) is back this week, but New York is down to QBs Tommy DeVito and Matt Barkley (practice squad) behind him.

Giants QB Tyrod Taylor is considered "week-to-week" with the rib injury he suffered in Sunday's loss to the Jets, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter. Taylor spent Sunday night in a hospital but has been released. QB Daniel Jones (neck) is expected back for Week 9. We'll see if the Giants add a QB or roll with Tommy Devito as Jones' backup for now.
