Jaguars WR Zay Jones (knee, hamstring) is listed as questionable for this weekend’s game vs. the Bucs. He only got in a limited practice on Friday. We’re not expecting Jones to play but will look for further updates on his status. We won’t get Jacksonville’s inactives until a little after 2:30 pm ET on Sunday.

Jaguars QB Trevor Lawrence (ankle, concussion) is listed as questionable for this weekend’s game vs. the Bucs. He returned to a limited practice on Friday after sitting out the previous two days. HC Doug Pederson on Friday called Lawrence’s status for this one a “coin flip.” We should get another update on his progress on Saturday when the team travels to Tampa Bay. QB C.J. Beathard will get the start if Lawrence isn’t cleared.

Jaguars QB Trevor Lawrence (ankle, concussion) remained sidelined for Thursday's practice. He's now a major long shot to be cleared in time for Sunday's game vs. the Bucs. Look for QB C.J. Beathard to get the start in that one -- an obvious downgrade for Jacksonville's offense.

Jaguars QB Trevor Lawrence (ankle, concussion) did not practice on Wednesday. HC Doug Pederson said earlier in the day that Lawrence is "progressing well," but the fact that he didn't practice today means that he still has a lot of progressing to do. Fantasy owners should not be banking on Lawrence playing vs. the Bucs this weekend.

Jaguars HC Doug Pederson said Wednesday that QB Trevor Lawrence remains in the concussion protocol but is "progressing well." It's still more likely than not that Lawrence misses Sunday's game vs. Bucs, but we'll continue to track his status over the next few days.

Jaguars HC Doug Pederson labeled WR Zay Jones "day-to-day" with the hamstring injury he suffered in Sunday night's loss to the Ravens. It sounds like Jones dodged a serious injury, but fantasy owners can't be counting on him to play Week 16. With WR Christian Kirk also out, Jacksonville could be down to WRs Parker Washington, Jamal Agnew, Tim Jones, and Elijah Cooks behind Calvin Ridley. Ridley and TE Evan Engram should dominate targets vs. the Bucs on Sunday. We'll see whether they're catching passes from QB Trevor Lawrence (concussion) or QB C.J. Beathard.

Jaguars QB Trevor Lawrence entered the concussion protocol after Sunday night's loss to the Ravens. HC Doug Pederson said Lawrence sustained the injury on one of his scrambles during the team's final drive. Lawrence obviously faces high risk of missing next Sunday's matchup with the Buccaneers, though a number of players have recently returned after less than a week in the protocol. (Whether that should be the case ... we'll leave to the neurologists.) If Lawrence can't go, C.J. Beathard would fill in for what should be an upside passing matchup. That would downgrade the key Jacksonville pass-catchers but not doom their fantasy outlooks. We'll watch the situation throughout the week.

Jaguars QB Trevor Lawrence completed 25 of 43 passes for 264 yards with 1 TD in Week 15’s loss vs. the Ravens. He and the offense struggled at several points on Sunday night, including mishandling a hurry-up situation at the end of the first half that failed to yield a score and Lawrence’s two lost fumbles in the contest. Following the game by Jaguars HC Doug Pederson, it was revealed that Lawrence had been entered into NFL concussion protocol. Week 16’s matchup vs. the Buccaneers (seventh-best QB matchup per our adjusted fantasy points allowed) is a good spot for Lawrence to bounce back, but it’ll be vital to follow the team’s injury reports this week regarding his availability.

Jaguars WR Zay Jones injured his left hamstring in the fourth quarter of Sunday night's game vs. the Ravens. He's been playing through a right knee injury. Jones is officially questionable to return to this one, but we doubt we see him again. We'll track his status this coming week.

Jaguars RB Travis Etienne totaled 14 carries for 35 yards and a TD in Week 14 vs. the Browns, adding 4 catches for 37 yards. If you've rostered Etienne all season, you've undoubtedly noticed the dropoff in touch volume over the past several weeks. After averaging 23.3 opportunities per game through Week 8, Etienne has dropped to 17.8 since Jacksonville’s bye in Week 9. A Week 12 rib injury might have factored in the past two games. His 78% snap share against Cleveland, though, marked the RB's most playing time since Week 8. Backup D'Ernest Johnson also saw a slight dip in his playing time: from 40% and 36% the previous two games to 26%. That fell in line with his two games immediately following the bye. Etienne gets tough matchups the next two games, against the Ravens and Bucs, that figure to limit his upside. But touch volume should be in his favor. A nice spot against Carolina awaits in Week 17.

The TD train kept on rolling for Jaguars TE Evan Engram in Week 14 vs. the Browns. The veteran concluded Sunday’s action with 11 receptions on 12 targets for 95 yards and 2 TDs, all team highs. This contest also marks his first stretch of back-to-back TD games since Week 13-14 in 2022. Engram now leads the Jags in targets, receptions, and receiving yards over the past three weeks and should be firmly entrenched in fantasy lineups from here on out. The difficult nature of his remaining matchups (second-toughest TE schedule per our adjusted fantasy points allowed) should be offset by the high concentration of work Engram has seen lately.

Jaguars QB Trevor Lawrence (ankle) is officially active for today’s game vs. the Browns. He’s playing just six days after suffering what was reported as a high-ankle sprain. Lawrence is very unlikely to have his usual mobility inside the pocket or his rushing ability outside of it today. Facing Cleveland’s sixth-ranked QB defense, Lawrence is not a recommended QB1 play.

Jaguars RB Travis Etienne (ribs) is active for today’s game vs. the Browns. The rib issue shouldn’t be a factor. Jacksonville figures to lean on the run today against a run-funnel Cleveland defense and with a gimpy QB Trevor Lawrence.

ESPN's Adam Schefter confirms that Jaguars RB Travis Etienne (ribs) is expected to play vs. the Browns today. He played through this issue in Monday night's loss to the Bengals and was never in danger of missing this one. Etienne's fantasy stock got a slight boost with QB Trevor Lawrence now likely to play today.

The Jaguars are "planning" for QB Trevor Lawrence to start today's game vs. the Browns, ESPN's Adam Schefter reports. Lawrence's ankle will be evaluated in pregame warmups before a final decision is made. He's just six days removed from a high-ankle sprain but got in two limited practices to close the week and is "feeling better than expected," according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. It's still tough to imagine that Lawrence will have much mobility inside or out of the pocket. Throw in the matchup against Cleveland's sixth-ranked QB defense, and Lawrence is not a recommended starter in 1-QB fantasy leagues. His availability is good news for Jacksonville's skill-position players, though.

The Jaguars have downgraded CB Tyson Campbell (quad) from questionable to out for Sunday's game against the Browns. That leaves Jacksonville down two of its top three corners, as CB Tre Herndon is out with a concussion. Those injuries could give a slight boost to the Cleveland passing game, though it's still not a high-value situation for fantasy lineups.

Jaguars RB Travis Etienne (ribs) was limited in practice all week and is listed as questionable for Sunday’s game vs. the Browns. He played through this issue in Monday night’s loss to the Bengals and is fully expected to play this weekend. It’s a reminder, though, that Etienne is not at 100%.

The Jaguars placed WR Christian Kirk (groin) on IR. That knocks him out for at least the next four games, meaning he can be safely dropped from all redraft rosters. Kirk would have a chance to return if Jacksonville makes a run in the playoffs. And his 2024 offseason shouldn't be impacted by this injury. He's signed with the Jaguars for two more seasons, although he'll likely need to restructure his current contract to bring down the $24.4 million 2024 cap hit. Kirk ranked 24th among WRs in PPR points through 12 healthy weeks this year.

Jaguars HC Doug Pederson said Friday morning that QB Trevor Lawrence (ankle) will be listed as questionable and "probably" be a game-time decision for Sunday's tilt with the Browns. ESPN's Jeremy Fowler reports that Lawrence looked good throwing on Thursday and that "no one is counting him out" for this weekend's game. We'll continue to keep you updated on the situation. A gimpy Lawrence vs. a tough Cleveland defense in a game with potentially bad weather wouldn't be a recommended QB1 play. But his presence would be good news for Jacksonville's skill-position players.

Update: Lawrence was limited again in Friday's practice and is officially listed as questionable.

Jaguars QB Trevor Lawrence (ankle) returned to a limited practice on Thursday. He evidently hasn't given up on playing vs. the Browns this weekend. We'll see what Lawrence does on Friday and how he's listed on the final injury report.
