Damiere Byrd Fantasy Football News 2019

Cardinals WR Christian Kirk (ankle) is inactive for today’s game against the Falcons. He put in 3 limited practices this week, so we’re tentatively expecting him back for Week 7. WR Damiere Byrd (hamstring) is active.

Cardinals WR Christian Kirk (ankle) is not expected to play against the Falcons today, ESPN's Adam Schefter reports. Kirk was limited in practice all week and has a good shot to return for Week 7. We'll see if WR Damiere Byrd (hamstring) is able to play today, but WR KeeSean Johnson will be the best target bet among Arizona wideouts not named Larry Fitzgerald.

Cardinals WR Christian Kirk (ankle) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Falcons after a limited week of practice. HC Kliff Kingsbury said Friday that Kirk will be a game-time decision. Cardinals-Falcons doesn't kick off until 4:05 pm ET, but hopefully we get an update on Kirk Sunday morning. He'll be a risk/reward fantasy play if active. WR Damiere Byrd (hamstring) was also limited in practice all week and is listed as questionable.

Cardinals WRs Christian Kirk (ankle) and Damiere Byrd (hamstring) were limited in Wednesday's practice. That gives both guys a shot to return for this weekend's game against the Falcons. They've both been basically full-time players for Arizona when healthy.

Cardinals WR Damiere Byrd (hamstring) is inactive for today’s game against the Bengals. That’ll leave WRs KeeSean Johnson, Trent Sherfield, Andy Isabella and Pharoh Cooper behind Larry Fitzgerald.

Cardinals WR Christian Kirk (ankle) is out for Sunday’s game against the Bengals. WR Damiere Byrd (hamstring) is listed as questionable but didn’t practice all week and seems like a long shot to play. That’ll leave WRs KeeSean Johnson, Trent Sherfield, Andy Isabella and Pharoh Cooper behind Larry Fitzgerald in the pecking order. Fitz is the only guy we can trust in fantasy lineups.

Cardinals HC Kliff Kingsbury considers WR Christian Kirk (ankle) "unlikely" to play against the Bengals this weekend. Kingsbury did add that Kirk will be limited in practice this week and that the ankle injury isn't as serious as the team initially feared. WR Damiere Byrd (hamstring) is also not expected to play on Sunday, per Kingsbury, leaving Arizona down to WRs Larry Fitzgerald, KeeSean Johnson, Trent Sherfield and Andy Isabella.

Cardinals WR Damiere Byrd (hamstring) is out for Sunday’s game against the Seahawks. He played 92% of Arizona’s offensive snaps over the first 3 games, so it’s a significant loss. KeeSean Johnson is the best bet to step in as the #3 WR, but he’s just a fantasy flier.

Cardinals WR Damiere Byrd has missed the first 2 practices of the week with a hamstring injury, putting his Week 4 status in serious doubt. That's significant considering Byrd has played 92% of Arizona's offensive snaps so far. His absence would likely mean more playing time for rookie WR KeeSean Johnson.

The Cardinals have signed WR Damiere Byrd to a 1-year deal. The 5'9, 180-pounder caught just 12 balls across 3 seasons with the Panthers, making his biggest splash in the 2017 preseason opener. We'll see if Byrd can carve out a worthwhile role in a fairly open Arizona WR corps, but he's not likely to factor into the average fantasy football league's draft picture in 2019.
