David Moore Fantasy Football News 2019

Seahawks WR David Moore (shoulder) is set to make his 2019 debut on Sunday against the Saints. He figures to slide in as Seattle’s #3 WR and isn’t a fantasy option. We don’t expect Moore to cut into WR D.K. Metcalf’s snaps.

Seahawks HC Pete Carroll said WR David Moore will be out "a while" with a shoulder injury suffered in Thursday's practice. Carroll added that Moore won't be ready for Week 1 but gave no timetable beyond that. With WR D.K. Metcalf recovering from knee surgery, Jaron Brown is in line to open the season as Seattle's #2 WR. WR Tyler Lockett figures to dominate targets early on.

Seahawks WR Doug Baldwin (hip) is inactive for tonight's game against the Vikings. That leaves Tyler Lockett and David Moore as Seattle's top 2 WRs. Lockett was already a fantasy starter. Moore jumps into WR3 range now and is an upside DFS play.

ESPN's Adam Schefter asked a Seahawks source if WR Doug Baldwin (hip) will play against the Vikings tonight and got this reply: "I wouldn’t think so, but you never know with Doug. I’m sure he will try.” A final decision on Baldwin might not be made until pregame warmups, but fantasy owners shouldn't be planning on having him. Baldwin's absence would give WRs Tyler Lockett and David Moore nice target boosts.

Seahawks HC Pete Carroll labeled WR Doug Baldwin (hip) a game-time decision for Monday night's tilt with the Vikings. Carroll also said that Baldwin's hip injury is related to his previous groin issue. The late kickoff obviously puts fantasy owners in a tough spot. You need to have a viable alternative if you're hoping to use Baldwin -- and the only one potentially available would be David Moore. Even if Baldwin ends up active, he'll be a risky WR3.
