The Panthers have signed K Greg Joseph to their practice squad. K Joey Slye missed 2 XPs and a late 28-yard FG in Sunday's 3-point loss to the Saints. We'll see if Carolina gives Slye another chance or makes the move to Joseph. Avoid the situation in Week 13 fantasy lineups.

Panthers K Graham Gano (knee) has been placed on IR. Since the team made the move before final cuts, Gano isn't eligible to return for the 2nd half of the season. That leaves undrafted rookie K Joey Slye atop the depth chart. He connected on 7 of 8 FG attempts this preseason, with his only miss getting blocked. Slye could be a spot-start option this season, but we'd go with a more proven K in Week 1 fantasy lineups.
