Lorenzo Alexander Fantasy Football News 2020

11:10am EDT 10/20/19

Bills LB Matt Milano is inactive for today's game against the Dolphins with a hamstring injury. Maurice Alexander looks like his replacement. Milano's absence could also mean more snaps for strong-side LB Lorenzo Alexander, who carries sleeper appeal as a pass-rusher against Miami.

Bills OLB Lorenzo Alexander (ankle) and DL Marcell Dareus (abdomen) are active for today's game against the Raiders. Use either as you normally would in IDP formats. Use particular caution with Alexander, though, as the injury adds risk in an already negative matchup for a pass rusher.

Bills OLB Lorenzo Alexander (ankle) and DL Marcell Dareus (abdomen) are questionable for Sunday's game at Oakland. Alexander missed practice Wednesday before taking part in limited workouts Thursday and Friday. It's a new injury from Week 12, and Alexander faces 1 of the league's worst pass-rushing matchups in the Raiders. He should be out of IDP lineups this week. Dareus put in limited practices all week and should be ready to play. He's a low-level fantasy option.

Bills OLB Lorenzo Alexander (ankle) is active for today's game against the Jaguars. He entered the day questionable but managed limited practices Thursday and Friday. Use him as you normally would in your IDP league.

The Bills will have OLBs Lorenzo Alexander (hamstring) and Jerry Hughes (hand) in tonight's game against the Seahawks. Both are active after entering the day questionable. Hughes is fine to use as you normally would in an upside matchup against Seattle's shaky pass protection. Alexander seems a bit risky, though you're probably using him if you've waited to this point.

The Bills have ruled DT Marcell Dareus out for Monday night's game in Seattle after a groin injury that basically cost him the whole practice week. Dareus got on the field Friday, but HC Rex Ryan told reporters he was "very limited." Dareus has played just 1 game this season thanks to suspension and then 2 injuries. Buffalo has also deemed OLBs Lorenzo Alexander (hamstring) and Jerry Hughes (hand) questionable. Alexander looks iffier after starting the practice week on the sideline. The Bills also have rookie OLB Shaq Lawson to spell Alexander even if he's active.

Bills OLB Lorenzo Alexander left in the 2nd quarter of today's loss to the Patriots with a hamstring injury and did not return. We'll see about his status this week. Further missed time for Alexander would open up more snaps for rookie OLB Shaq Lawson, who played his 2nd game this week and notched his 1st NFL sack.

Bills OLB Shaq Lawson returned to practice this week, his 1st chance to do so after opening the year on the PUP. The rookie said he felt "completely healthy," according to the Buffalo News, after working back from shoulder surgery to fix an issue that dated back to college. HC Rex Ryan didn't rule out playing Lawson this Sunday at Miami, though we wouldn't bet on too prominent a role within the next few games. OLB Lorenzo Alexander is playing the best ball of his career in what would have been Lawson's place, across from OLB Jerry Hughes.
