Bills QB Matt Barkley is expected to get "meaningful snaps" in today's game against the Dolphins, according to NFL Network's Michael Giardi. It's sure looking like Buffalo will rest a bunch of starters in this one. QB Josh Allen notably needs 40 passing yards to break the team's single-season record, so we might see him stay in just long enough to get there. We're expecting WR Stefon Diggs to be pulled early, too.
Bills QB Josh Allen (concussion) remained limited in Thursday's practice. He still has multiple stages of the protocol to pass through and seems no better than 50/50 to be cleared in time for this weekend's game against the Titans. QB Matt Barkley will start if Allen can't.
Bills QB Josh Allen has been ruled out of Sunday’s game against the Jets. The team announced that Matt Barkley will start in his place. Barkley gets the nod over Nate Peterman, who’s tossed 7 picks — vs. 1 TD — on just 49 attempts. Barkley was signed on October 31st and doesn’t project as much of an upgrade. The Jets D/ST remains an elite option.
