The busy Eagles have announced they signed former Patriots S Patrick Chung. Once a favorite IDP breakout candidate, Chung let fantasy owners down by losing 14 games to various injuries over the past 3 seasons. Even when he was healthy last year, Chung lost his full-time role in a crowded backfield. Chung left Oregon for the NFL just as Chip Kelly was taking over the HC post. But Kelly spent the previous 2 years as OC for the Ducks. So he's obviously familiar with Chung. The most obvious move would be to slot Chung into the Eagles' starting SS job. We'll see how the rest of the action sorts out, though. Philly would probably like to replace both starters at the back end.
