Patrick Onwuasor Fantasy Football News 2020

Jets ILB C.J. Mosley has opted out for the upcoming season, according to multiple reports. That removes the Jets' big free-agent addition from last offseason for the 2nd straight year. Mosley missed basically all of 2019 after suffering a groin injury in the 1st half of the opener. The defense does get back ILB Avery Williamson from the ACL tear that cost him last season. Neville Hewitt, Blake Cashman and offseason addition Patrick Onwuasor figure to compete for Mosley's role. Williamson gets a big boost to his fantasy ceiling. He finished top 15 among fantasy LBs in 2018 and certainly has that potential again.

Ravens ILB Patrick Onwuasor (ankle) and S Earl Thomas (knee) are questionable for Sunday night's game against the Patriots. Both seem likely to play, but we'll have to confirm their statuses Sunday evening.

Ravens ILB Patrick Onwuasor returned to a limited practice Wednesday, the 1st time he has practiced since suffering an ankle sprain in the Week 5 win at Pittsburgh. We'll watch Onwuasor's progress through this week, but he seems likely to return for IDP usage in a matchup with tackle upside.

Ravens LB Patrick Onwuasor (ankle) is inactive for today's game against the Seahawks. Looks like Josh Bynes and L.J. Fort will be the ILB starters for the 2nd straight week. They played just 61% and 44% of the snaps, respectively, in those roles last week and aren't strong IDP options.

Ravens LB Patrick Onwuasor is questionable for Sunday's game against the Seahawks with the ankle sprain that cost him last week's game. Onwuasor missed practice all week again. HC John Harbaugh said Friday that he doesn't have a "don't practice, don't play" rule, according to the team website. We'll see about his status Sunday afternoon.

Ravens ILB Patrick Onwuasor (ankle) is inactive for today's game against the Bengals. That figures to get both Chris Board and Kenny Young back into the defensive rotation. Board played just 1 defensive snap last week, and Young was a healthy scratch. So neither makes for a safe IDP bet. Josh Bynes -- who signed with the team last week and then played more than 70% of the snaps in his 1st game -- might become a full-time player this week. Bynes carries attractive upside for IDP lineups.

Ravens ILB Patrick Onwuasor is questionable for Sunday's game against the Bengals after missing practice all week with an ankle injury. Daniel Oyefusi of The Baltimore Sun reports that Onwuasor will be a game-time decision. That makes him quite risky for IDP lineups. Try not to use Onwuasor this week.

Ravens ILB C.J. Mosley is out for today's game against the Broncos because of a bone bruise in his left knee. Kenny Young figures to start in his place and likely see full-time duty after filling in for 76% of the snaps in Week 2 against the Bengals, after Mosley left. Patrick Onwuasor is the best bet for full playing time among Ravens ILBs, but Young looks like the higher-upside option. He has delivered a tackle for loss in each outing to open the season after an nice preseason.
