The Seahawks on Monday traded a 5th-round NFL Draft pick to Washington for CB Quinton Dunbar, ESPN reports. Dunbar is heading into the final season on his contract and lost 14 games to injuries over the past 2 years. He has proved productive when on the field, though, including 17 passes defensed and 6 INTs over his past 18 games. Dunbar should be a starter for Seattle and a draftable DB in 2020 IDP leagues of at least moderate depth.
Washington S Landon Collins (Achilles' tendon) is questionable for Sunday's game against the Giants but looks likely to play. HC Bill Callahan said Thursday that Collins had a good chance to play despite missing the week's 1st 2 practices, according to the team website. And then Collins returned to a full workout Friday. We'll check his status Sunday morning. Washington will be without starting CB Quinton Dunbar (hamstring) for the 2nd straight game and will likely also miss starter Fabian Moreau (hamstring, doubtful). Washington recently placed CB Jimmy Moreland on IR as well, leaving a shoddy secondary looking even worse against a healthy and talented crew of Giants WRs.
Washington CB Quinton Dunbar (hamstring) is inactive for today's game against the Eagles. S Montae Nicholson (ankle) and CB Fabian Moreau (hamstring) are active for the contest.
Washington CB Quinton Dunbar (hamstring) and FS Montae Nicholson (ankle) are questionable for Sunday's game against the Eagles. Dunbar missed practice all week with his injury and looks like a poor bet for IDP use even if he plays. Nicholson sustained his injury Friday. We'll see about both players Sunday morning. CB Fabian Moreau (hamstring) is also questionable after limited practices all week. That means 2 of Washington's current top 3 at the position will be at least banged up for the game -- if not out. CB Josh Norman -- recently booted from the starting lineup -- is also questionable with an illness.
Washington CB Quinton Dunbar graduated to a full practice Thursday and seems on track to return Sunday against the Giants. Dunbar missed the past 2 games with a knee injury but returned to the field for the 1st time Wednesday (limited). As long as he's active, Dunbar will make for a nice Week 4 IDP option. We've added him to the DB rankings.
Washington CB Quinton Dunbar (knee) is inactive for today's game against the Cowboys. Washington will also miss slot CB Fabian Moreau, leaving just one-third of the team's starting CB trio available vs. a Dallas pass offense that exploded in Week 1.
Washington CB Quinton Dunbar is questionable for Sunday's game against the Cowboys and trending in the wrong direction. Dunbar is dealing with knee soreness, according to the Washington Post. HC Jay Gruden said Thursday it was "nothing major" after Dunbar went from limited Wednesday to not practicing Thursday. He also said, however, that Friday would be "a big day" for Dunbar and other injured players. Dunbar sat out again Friday. Plan on not having him available for your Week 2 IDP lineup. We'll check his status Sunday morning.
Washington on Tuesday placed CB Quinton Dunbar on IR with the shin injury that has dogged him since Week 6. The nerve issue messed with Dunbar's participation during the week and gameday availability since. He reappeared for playing time in Week 9 and Week 12 but never took the field for consecutive games after the initial injury. When healthy, Dunbar did play well in his 1st shot at starting. If he can get the shin issue healed up ahead of next season, Dunbar could enter 2019 as an IDP sleeper.
Washington CB Quinton Dunbar is questionable once again for Monday night's visit to Philadelphia. He continues to deal with the nerve issue in his right shin, which allowed him to play on Thanksgiving. But Dunbar missed practice all this week. The team website reports that the team is "hopeful that with enough rest he might be able to go." HC Jay Gruden was similarly non-committal: "Yeah, I don’t know. This is a unique deal. When you're talking about the nerve and you're talking about that area for a guy who utilizes his speed, it's tough. It's only something that Quinton can help us along with. It's all about what he feels comfortable with. Last week, he felt comfortable enough to play, but you could see he was struggling with it as the game went on.” The Monday night kick makes Dunbar not worth waiting for unless you're looking well down the list for a starting DB. We've knocked him down our Week 13 DB rankings.
Washington CB Quinton Dunbar is questionable for Sunday's game against the Texans. He's still dealing with the nerve issue in his right shin that has already cost him 3 games and limited his playing time when he tried to return for Week 9. Dunbar posted big numbers in that contest but stayed on the field for just 40% of the snaps. He's not likely to repeat that performance. You're best off leaving Dunbar out until he's all the way back. He didn't practice at all this week.
Washington CB Quinton Dunbar (shin) is out for today’s game against the Buccaneers. He missed practice all week after leaving last Sunday’s contest early.
Washington CB Quinton Dunbar (shin) is questionable for Sunday's game at Tampa Bay. He returned for last week's clash with Atlanta but made it through just 40% of the defensive snaps before leaving. He then missed practice all week. Don't bother with Dunbar in IDP lineups.
Washington CB Quinton Dunbar is inactive for the 2nd straight game because of a shin injury. We'll see about his status for Week 9.
Washington CB Quinton Dunbar is questionable for Sunday’s game against the Giants. He looks more iffy than that, however, after missing practice all week. Dunbar is dealing with a nerve issue after getting kicked in 1 of his shins last week and missing Sunday’s win over Dallas
Washington CB Quinton Dunbar (shin) is inactive for today's game against the Cowboys. This change has no real fantasy impact beyond IDP owners who had been using him.
Washington CB Quinton Dunbar left Friday's practice early with a shin contusion and is questionable for Sunday's game against Dallas. ESPN's John Keim said HC Jay Gruden sounded "somewhat optimistic" about Dunbar's chances of playing. The 4:25 p.m. ET makes it tougher to wait on Dunbar for your IDP lineup, though, especially for an unspectacular scoring matchup with the Cowboys. We'll update his status Sunday afternoon for anyone who is waiting, though.
