The Dolphins have ruled S Reshad Jones out for Sunday's game at Buffalo with a chest injury.
Dolphins S Reshad Jones missed practice Wednesday because of what the team called a chest injury. That might explain why Jones' playing time fell to 75% in Sunday's loss to Washington. We'll see about his participation and status the rest of the week, leading up to Sunday's game at Buffalo.
Dolphins S Reshad Jones (ankle) is active for today's game against Washington. He played through a "questionable" designation in Week 4 as well -- before the bye -- and played a full game. Jones should be in IDP lineups for Week 6. Miami's top CB, Xavien Howard, is inactive with a knee injury. That helps the outlook for lead Washington WR Terry McLaurin.
Dolphins S Reshad Jones is questionable for Sunday's game against Washington. He put in limited practices all week coming off the Week 5 bye. It's the exact same practice schedule he kept leading up to Week 4, though. Jones was questionable for that contest, and then he played all but 1 snap and led the team in tackles. As long as he's active, consider Jones usable in IDP leagues.
Three incumbent defensive starters could be out of the plans for the 2019 Dolphins, according to The Miami Herald. S Reshad Jones and LB Kiko Alonso have reportedly been dangled in trade talks. Neither has played in a preseason game so far. Jones has reportedly said he'd accept the decreased defensive role that's expected to greet him this season. Alonso, meanwhile, has been mentioned by multiple reporters as a cut candidate if he isn't traded. MLB Raekwon McMillan is also rumored to be dropping out of the starting lineup. He also has yet to play in a preseason game. The team's official site still lists Alonso and McMillan as starters alongside Jerome Baker, but CFL import Sam Eguavoen has been starting alongside Baker in the exhibitions and reportedly working with the 1st team in practice as well. Baker and Eguavon have both reportedly impressed the new coaching staff. We've knocked Alonso and McMillan way down our LB rankings and moved Baker and Eguavon up. Jones also took a tumble down the DB rankings today. Alonso, McMillan and Jones all look like players worth skipping in IDP drafts this weekend. Bobby McCain and Minkah Fitzpatrick have been the top Miami safeties in preseason.
Dolphins S Reshad Jones left Sunday's loss to the Bills early with a leg injury and didn't appear to return. Jones did, at least, supply a pick-6 for IDP owners before leaving.
Dolphins S Reshad Jones pulled himself from Sunday's win over the Jets in the 1st quarter, according to ESPN's Cameron Wolfe. The team said Jones' departure was not injury related, and HC Adam Gase said afterward that he'd have to look into the situation more. Personal differences in Miami have already led to RB Jay Ajayi's midseason trade to Philadelphia last year and DT Jordan Phillips' release earlier this season. This situation will be worth watching, with a guy capable of scoring among fantasy's top DBs.
Dolphins S Reshad Jones is active for today's game against the Bengals after missing the previous 2 games with a shoulder injury. S T.J. McDonald is also active despite entering the day questionable with a foot injury. The defense will miss DE Cameron Wake (knee) and CB Bobby McCain (knee). Charles Harris will start in place of Wake.
Dolphins S Reshad Jones (shoulder) is questionable for Sunday's game against the Bengals. Early-week reports said the team expected him back, but we'll need to check his status Sunday morning. Jones put in full practices Thursday and Friday last week but still missed the game. DE Cameron Wake, however, is doubtful with a knee injury.
Dolphins S Reshad Jones (shoulder) is out for today's game against the Patriots. That's a bit surprising given his full practices Thursday and Friday, but earlier Sunday reports suggested Jones would remain out. We'll see about his status headed toward Week 5. DE Cameron Wake (knee) is active but merely a lower-level IDP option.
Dolphins S Reshad Jones (shoulder) and DE Cameron Wake (knee) are questionable for Sunday's game against the Patriots. Each guy put in full practices Thursday and Friday, though, and appears on track to play. We'll confirm the status of each guy Sunday morning.
Dolphins S Reshad Jones is out for today's game against the Raiders because of a shoulder injury. That leaves Miami's defense without arguably it's best player and chips away at the unit's upside as a starting team defense this week.
Dolphins S Reshad Jones is questionable for Sunday's game against the Raiders. Jones missed Wednesday's practice with a shoulder injury before returning to limited workouts Thursday and Friday. We'll check his status Sunday morning.
Dolphins S Reshad Jones missed practice Wednesday because of a shoulder injury he sustained in Sunday's win over the Jets. Jones returned to practice Thursday, though, and finished out the game after hurting the shoulder in the 1st half. We'd bet on him playing against the Raiders this Sunday but will watch the safety's status to confirm.
The Dolphins have added S Reshad Jones to the injury report for today's game against the Broncos. Jones is questionable with a back injury. We'll check on his status later this morning, when the inactives are announced.
Dolphins S Reshad Jones is coming off the non-football injury list and joining his team on the practice field Wednesday, according to Armando Salguero of the Miami Herald. Jones began camp on the NFI because of a calf strain suffered while working out away from the team. It was never believed to be a big issue, but his return before the preseason games even start is welcome. Jones, of course, is also coming off a rotator cuff tear that cost him the final 10 games of last year.
Dolphins S Reshad Jones has yet to take the field in training camp because of a minor calf issue, the Miami Herald reports. The team placed Jones on the non-football injury list last week, but HC Adam Gase didn't reveal until Monday what Jones' injury was. He reportedly tweaked the muscle while working out away from the team and isn't expected to miss much time. We'd still like to see Jones take the field soon to prove he's all the way back from the shoulder injury that ended his 2016 season 10 games early.
