Rams WRs Sammy Watkins and Robert Woods are active but were not listed as starters for today's finale against the 49ers. Neither guy is likely to play. The team announced WR Josh Reynolds and Pharoh Cooper as the starters.
Rams WR Robert Woods (shoulder) is not listed on the final injury report. He practiced all week, including full workouts on Thursday and Friday. It looks like Woods is ready to play his usual role against the Seahawks this weekend. He was sitting 14th among WRs in PPR points through Week 11.
Rams WR Robert Woods (shoulder) was limited in Wednesday's practice. He's expected to play against the Seahawks this weekend, but it'd be nice to see him get in a full workout on Thursday or Friday. Woods has been sidelined since Week 11.
Rams HC Sean McVay confirmed on Monday that WR Robert Woods (shoulder) is "on track" to play against the Seahawks this weekend. Week 15 has been the target for Woods, and he returned to a limited practice this past Friday. There's always some risk with guys coming off multi-week absences, but Woods will be worth WR3 consideration vs. a banged-up Seattle secondary.
Rams WR Robert Woods (shoulder) is inactive for today's game against the Eagles. He returned to practice on Friday, putting him on track to play next weekend. Cooper Kupp, Sammy Watkins and Josh Reynolds will serve as the Rams’ top 3 WRs again today.
ESPN's Adam Schefter reports that Rams WR Robert Woods is not expected to play today against the Eagles. He has missed the past 2 games with a shoulder injury but enters the day questionable after returning to a limited practice Friday. Without Woods, the Rams would continue to lean on WRs Cooper Kupp and Sammy Watkins in a matchup that should favor passing over rushing. Rookie Josh Reynolds should get another start in Woods' place if Woods does turn up inactive.
Rams WR Robert Woods (shoulder) is listed as questionable for this weekend’s game against the Eagles after returning to a limited practice on Friday. It gives him an outside chance to play, but HC Sean McVay has previously said that Week 15 is Woods’ most likely return date. We’ll look for an update on Woods on Sunday morning, but he shouldn’t be in your Week 14 fantasy plans right now.
Rams WR Robert Woods (shoulder) won't play against the Cardinals this Sunday and is likely also out for Week 14, according to HC Sean McVay. "A couple weeks from now is probably what's the most realistic approach," McVay said. "But you never know with Robert." Woods is worth hanging on to as a fantasy starter in Weeks 15 and 16.
Rams WR Robert Woods (shoulder) is out for Sunday’s game against the Saints. He didn’t practice all week and is expected to miss multiple games. The majority of the 7 targets Woods has averaged per game should go to WRs Sammy Watkins and Cooper Kupp.
Rams WR Robert Woods is expected to miss "a couple of weeks" with his shoulder injury, HC Sean McVay said. That's all we know about the injury at this point. We can safely rule him out for Sunday's game against the Saints -- and probably for Week 13, too. WR Josh Reynolds could pick up some more snaps on the outside with Woods out but can't be trusted in fantasy lineups. WRs Cooper Kupp and Sammy Watkins will be the best bets for targets.
Update: McVay said the fill-in plan behind Woods was "something that we'll discuss" and added that it would be "kind of by committee." In addition to Reynolds, the coach mentioned Tavon Austin, Mike Thomas and Pharoh Cooper. Fantasy owners shouldn't bet on any of these guys become factors over the next couple of weeks.
NFL Network's Ian Rapoport hears that Rams WR Robert Woods' shoulder injury is "not considered serious." There's not believed to be any structural damage, and it's an injury that Woods "could potentially play through," per Rapoport. We'll keep an eye on his status throughout the week. Woods and the Rams have another big game against the Saints on Sunday.
Rams WR Robert Woods hurt his left shoulder late in Sunday's loss to the Vikings. Pro Football Talk reports that the injury doesn't appear to be serious. We'll see what the team has to say about it Monday.
Rams insider Joe Curley expects TE Tyler Higbee to be 2nd in line for targets this season, behind only the newly acquired Sammy Watkins. Higbee caught just 11 balls as a rookie last year but was an intriguing prospect coming out of Western Kentucky. The converted WR goes 6'6, 249 pounds and averaged 15.5 yards per catch in 4 college seasons. Higbee has been buzzing early in training camp and has some upside in new Rams HC Sean McVay's TE-friendly offense. Curley, by the way, has rookie WR Cooper Kupp 3rd on the target totem pole and WR Robert Woods 4th.
The Rams finally have themselves a true #1 WR. They traded CB E.J. Gaines and a 2018 2nd-round pick to Buffalo in exchange for WR Sammy Watkins. It's an aggressive move by a team that has poured resources into its offense this offseason. Watkins joins a WR group that includes free-agent signee (and former teammate) Robert Woods, rookies Cooper Kupp and Josh Reynolds and holdover Tavon Austin. A heathy Watkins is clearly the top dog here, though. Of course, he'll also be dealing with a QB downgrade from Tyrod Taylor to Jared Goff. Watkins' fantasy stock takes a bit of a hit with this move.
Adam Schefter reports that former Bills WR Robert Woods has reached a deal with the Rams. That will take the former USC wideout back to Los Angeles, but it lands him in 1 of the league's worst offenses. Woods has shown flashes at times and will turn just 25 in April. But we'll need to see a lot more from QB Jared Goff before finding any interest in Woods' fantasy stock with the Rams. Woods basically replaces Kenny Britt, who has reached a deal with the Browns. That's a lateral move at best for the L.A. offense -- and probably a downgrade in talent.
The forecast for today's Browns-Bills game calls for a slight chance of snow but winds of 20-30 mph. That's certainly enough to impact the passing games. Hopefully you're not relying on any part of Cleveland's passing attack. Downgrade Bills QB Tyrod Taylor and WR Sammy Watkins a tad, but both are still fine fantasy starters. Expect a heavy dose of RB LeSean McCoy today.
Bills WR Robert Woods (knee) is active for today’s game against the Steelers. He’s no better than a WR4 with Sammy Watkins back as Buffalo’s top target.
Bills WR Robert Woods (knee) is listed as questionable for Sunday’s game against the Steelers. He put in 3 limited practices this week, and HC Rex Ryan said Friday that Woods is “ready to roll.” He’s just a low-upside WR4 behind Sammy Watkins.
Bills WR Robert Woods (knee) returned to a limited practice on Wednesday. That gives him a shot to play against the Steelers this weekend. Woods won't be a recommended fantasy starter, but his return would help QB Tyrod Taylor.
Bills WRs Robert Woods (knee) and WR Percy Harvin (migraines) are out for this weekend’s game against the Raiders. That leaves Marquise Goodwin and Justin Hunter behind Sammy Watkins, who isn’t expected to play a full slate of snaps.
