The Steelers this week placed S Sean Davis on IR after he tore the labrum in his right shoulder in Sunday's loss to the Seahawks. According to Gerry Dulac of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, the injury is not expected to end Davis' season. He'll miss at least the next 8 games, though. The Steelers, of course, also traded on Monday for former Dolphins S Minkah Fitzpatrick, who will take over Davis' spot at FS. We'll see what happens when Davis is ready to return.
Steelers S Sean Davis is doubtful for Sunday night's opener at New England because of an ankle injury. That means we should all treat him as out, given there are only 2 more games beyond his in Week 1.
Steelers S Sean Davis is active for today's game against the Ravens. He entered the day questionable with an ankle injury that cost him Wednesday's practice and limited his Thursday and Friday participation. That adds risk to Davis as an IDP starter for Week 4, though there's upside against Joe Flacco and TE Ben Watson.
Steelers S Sean Davis is questionable for Sunday's game against the Ravens because of an ankle injury. He missed practice Wednesday but returned to limited workouts the next 2 days. We'll update his status Sunday morning but did knock him down the Week 4 IDP rankings a bit. Even if Davis is active in Baltimore, the ankle adds some risk that he won't finish the game.
The Steelers spent a 2nd-round pick on DB Sean Davis. The former Maryland Terrapin played both CB and S in college and joins a team that already drafted CB Artie Burns. NFL Network's Daniel Jeremiah called him "very raw," which could affect how soon Davis gets a shot at the lineup. He's not on the radar for rookie drafts in most IDP dynasty leagues.
