Lions DT Damon HArrison (knee) is inactive for today's game against the Bears. DE Trey Flowers (concussion) is active, though, and ready to be a solid IDP option. DE Da'Shawn Hand (ankle) and S Tracy Walker (knee) are also active. Hand is no more than a low-level factor. A healthy Walker has been a weekly IDP starter this season, but he carries significant risk this week. Walker previously returned for Week 11 but left that game early.
Lions DE Trey Flowers (concussion), S Tracy Walker (knee), DT Damon Harrison (knee) and DE Da'Shawn Hand (ankle) are questionable for today's game against the Bears. Flowers progressed to a full practice Wednesday, but we have yet to see that he has gained full clearance to return from his concussion. If he gets that Thursday, he'll be a nice IDP option against the Bears. Walker remained limited all week. The last time he tried to return from this knee injury found him leaving that game in the 1st half. He's too risky for Week 13. Harrison has played through "questionable" tags the past 2 weeks and should be fine. Hand has only appeared in 2 games all season and missed the past 3 with the injury that continued to limit him in practice this week. We'll update the statuses on all 4 around 10:30 a.m. ET. Detroit has already ruled out CB Rashaan Melvin (ribs) for the 2nd straight game.
The Lions have ruled DE Trey Flowers (concussion) and S Tracy Walker (knee) out for Sunday's game against Washington. That keeps rookie S Will Harris in the starting lineup in Walker's spot. Detroit will be thin at DE, with Da'Shawn Hand also out.
Lions S Tracy Walker entered Week 11 questionable with a right knee injury that cost him the previous 2 games. He left Week 11 early with a right knee injury. HC Matt Patricia said afterward that he didn't know whether it was the same injury, according to ESPN's Michael Rothstein. We'll see about the outlook here, but IDP owners should expect to miss Walker for at least the next game. Even with Walker active against the Cowboys, Tavon Wilson and Will Harris still started at safety. Wilson looks like a full-timer whether Walker's in or out. Harris' role depends on Walker's involvement.
Lions S Tracy Walker is active for today's game against the Cowboys. He missed the past 2 games with a knee injury and managed just a limited Friday practice this week. Walker remains a risky IDP option. He has also ranked among the position's top fantasy scorers when healthy this season. DT Damon Harrison (groin) is also active after entering the day questionable. DE Romeo Okwara (groin) is inactive.
Lions SS Tracy Walker returned to a limited practice Friday for the 1st time since suffering a knee injury that cost him the past 2 games. Walker is questionable for Sunday's clash with the Cowboys. DT Damon Harrison (groin) is questionable for the game. He has played through questionable tags the past 2 weeks. DE Romeo Okwara (groin) is also questionable. He's not much of an IDP option even if healthy.
The Lions have ruled out S Tracy Walker (knee) for Sunday's game against the Bears. That should mean rookie S Will Harris joining Tavon Wilson in the starting lineup for the 2nd straight game. DE Da'Shawn Hand (ankle) is also out. DT Damon Harrison (groin), DE Romeo Okwara (groin) and DT A'Shawn Robinson (ankle) are questionable for the game. None is a strong IDP option, but we'll update their statuses Sunday morning.
The Lions have ruled S Tracy Walker (knee) out for Sunday's game against the Raiders. That should leave Tavon Wilson and Will Harris as the top 2 safeties. CB Darius Slay (hamstring) and DT Damon Harrison (groin) are questionable.
Lions S Tracy Walker left in the 3rd quarter of Sunday's win over the Giants with a right knee injury and did not return. HC Matt Patricia said after the game that Walker would be in for further evaluation Monday. Rookie S Will Harris saw the biggest playing-time spike, matching starter Tavon Wilson at 82% of the defensive snaps. Harris would likely start in Walker's place if the incumbent misses further time.
