T.Y. Hilton Fantasy Football News 2019

6:10pm EDT 10/6/19

Colts WR T.Y. Hilton (quad) is active for tonight’s game against Chiefs. He got in limited practices on Thursday and Friday and still probably isn’t at 100%. That makes Hilton a risk/reward fantasy play.

According to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport, "there is optimism" that Colts WR T.Y. Hilton will be able to return from his quad injury tonight against the Chiefs. Hilton is questionable after putting in limited workouts Thursday and Friday. The Sunday night kickoff for that game means most fantasy owners will have to make the call on whether to play Hilton before knowing if he'll be active. If you do want to wait for Hilton, potential fill-ins who might be available on the waiver wire include Deon Cain, Zach Pascal, Rashard Higgins (questionable, knee) and several 49ers.

Colts WR T.Y. Hilton (quad) is listed as questionable for Sunday night’s game against Chiefs. He got in limited practices on Thursday and Friday. We should get an update on Hilton’s status on Sunday morning. WR Parris Campbell (abdominal) is out for Week 5.

Colts WR T.Y. Hilton (quad) returned to a limited practice on Thursday. That gives him a shot to play against the Chiefs on Sunday night. Check back tomorrow for another update.

Colts WR T.Y. Hilton (quad) remained sidelined for Wednesday's practice. That's not a good start in his quest to return for Sunday night's showdown with the Chiefs. We'll get another update on Hilton tomorrow.

Colts WR T.Y. Hilton (quad) is inactive for today’s game against the Raiders. That leaves WRs Deon Cain, Parris Campbell, Zach Pascal and Chester Rogers atop the depth chart. Cain and Campbell are the most exciting options but are really only in play for DFS tournaments.

The Colts ended up listing WR T.Y. Hilton (quad) as doubtful on the final Week 4 injury report. So it looks like he'll be held out of Sunday's game against the Raiders. That leaves Deon Cain, Parris Campbell, Zach Pascal and Chester Rogers as Indy's top 4 WRs. Cain led the group in snaps last week and is the best fantasy bet. But you should avoid this situation outside of DFS tournaments.

Colts WR T.Y. Hilton (quad) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Raiders. He didn't practice all week, but insider Mike Chappell notes that Hilton played in 4 games without practicing last year. We'll find out his official status by noon ET on Sunday.

Colts WR T.Y. Hilton (quad) missed his 2nd straight practice on Thursday. It doesn't necessarily mean he won't play against the Raiders this weekend, but he's certainly in danger of missing the game and won't be at 100% if he does suit up.

Colts WR T.Y. Hilton (quad) didn't practice on Wednesday. We're not expecting him to practice much, if at all, this week after aggravating that quad injury in Sunday's win over the Falcons. Hilton could still play against the Raiders this weekend, but fantasy owners should have a backup plan lined up.

Colts WR T.Y. Hilton (quad) was non-committal when asked about his Week 4 status on Tuesday. "If I can play, I'll play," he said. Hilton was limited in practice all last week with the quad injury and then aggravated it in the win over the Falcons. We'll track his practice participation over the next few days.

Colts WR T.Y. Hilton has been ruled out for the rest of Sunday's game against the Falcons with a quad injury. This is presumably an aggravation of the issue that limited him in practice all week and had him listed as questionable. Hilton at least racked up 8 catches for 65 yards and a score before exiting. We'll look for an update on his status.

11:09am EDT 9/22/19

Colts WR T.Y. Hilton (quad) is active for today’s game against the Falcons. He was limited in practice all week and was reportedly a game-time decision, so the quad issue is legitimate. It adds some risk to Hilton’s Week 3 outlook, but we’d feel fine keeping him in fantasy lineups.

NFL Network's Ian Rapoport labels Colts WR T.Y. Hilton (quad) a "game-time decision" for today's tilt with the Falcons. Rapoport adds that there's "optimism" Hilton will play, while ESPN's Adam Schefter calls it "likely" that Hilton plays. Still, this is the 1st time we've heard any concern over Hilton's status, despite the fact that he was limited in practice all week. Keep him penciled into fantasy lineups for now, but check back around noon ET to make sure he's active.
